Hello
We are having trouble with printing from Filemaker Pro 7 to
a Toshiba Estudio 250 printer /copier. All other programmes print OK.
The computer is a PC running Windows XP 2002 Service Pack 2 Pentium
III.
The merged data from the list comes out fine but the text
boxes in the layout (for an address sheet) comes out as gobbledegook:
just numbers, symbols, garbage.
e.g.
@??***%%% $20) 3344% &&% 222$$99)))7%%
(#@!() 33379<< && ^^##!!) 3333@//<4$)7777^3298

Likely need to update printer, or at least drivers... Thanks for rating FixYa!
If you are still having an issue with which I might assist, I would like to get to FixYa!
Hello, td4dave. Haven't heard back from you - just wanted to check to see if you are still having issues or if we have gotten it fixed. Thought I would add a little info re drivers.
Since detecting the type of equipment you have, and its numerous technical specifications, can be quite difficult, it may be easiest to use a site that will scan your system and determine the updates needed. Three available sites: driveragent.com, drivers.com, and drivershq.com.
I am hopeful that we have reached a solution for you, to the point where you feel that my help has brought us to a FixYa rating! Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback - glad you got it going - and yes, there's a MS influence in (almost) all our lives that is often not pleasant! Happy news, and again, thanks for checking back in. Best of luck to you!
