Probably a piece of paper is still jammed in the paper path, or could be just dust under the sensor.

Open up and check very carefully for bits of paper/dust. Use a vacuum tube to **** out any dust EXCEPT near the fuser wire.

Load Legal paper in Cassette 1.
If you want to print using only one piece of paper currently loaded in the Manual Feed Slot, click [Resolve Error].
If you want to feed paper from the cassettes, remove the loaded paper from the Manual Feed Slot.

Receiving a "load paper" error message; has to do with paper size

Don't know this printer that well. Open tray one and look in the back and see if there is wheel or slider where you can change the paper size.

Paper won't pick up from the paper tray. I keep getting a load error message or paper tray message no matter how I load the paper. I get the codes "A4" and "024-964" Thanks

Check your printer for paper size and type settings. Ensure they are set to letter and plain1. Also check the program you are printing from (Word, wordperfect, etc) and ensure the paper size is correct there as well.
