My computer is telling me I can not run an x86 build of this utility on a x64 platform. I am running windows 7. What do I have to do to be able to run this program for the new Futura CE-150

x86 means 32bit operating system , x64 means 64bit operating system.Windows is divided into to categories 32 and 64 bit. In your case you might be trying to install 32bit operating system's software or a application in an 64bit operating system running machine. If you are getting the above mention error message than it is clear that your window 7 is 64bit operating system and a 64bit operating system doesn't support 32 bit's software. You only can install software or application you are meant for 64bit supporting.

GOOD LUCK.

Attempted to install software for singer futura ce150 on a new laptop running windows 7. I received the following error message: cannot run an x86 build of this utility on x64 platform Initializing...

The driver that ships with the sewing machine was designed for an older type of computer and will not work on a new laptop.

Try downloading the updated driver from the Futura support site and installing that instead.

I HAVE A VERSION 2.6. I AM WORKING IN WIDOWS 2003 PLATFORM. I WANT TO GO IN FOR WINDOWS 2007 THEN WHAT VERSION OF FOXPRO FOR WINDOWS WILL WORK.

Hi,
To avoid present and future compatibility problems, it is always advisable to use the latest version available: 9.0 SP2.
On the other hand, the version 2007 of Windows doesn't exist. Perhaps you meant Windows 2008 Server or Windows 7. The latest version of VFP is compatible with both.
Best regards

Removing w32.virut.cf virus

Try the free version of Malwarebytes
If you have issues installing it, try renaming the file and then renaming the main .exe after it's installed. Some viruses and trojans can recognize the file name and prevent it from installing/running. Also try safe mode to install and run a full scan.

I cannot install Singer sew-ware 1.0 on my windows vista

It's not clear whether v1.0 is compatible with Vista. Try the compatibility patch as described below.

From the sew-ware site
(http://www.psw-support.com/Downloads/cpatch10.htm):

PSW 1.0 Windows Compatibility patch

Please download this file in order to make PSW 1.0 products fully functional on all Windows platforms including Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Simply click on it to start the download.

After download, double click on it to run it and follow the installation instructions.

Reinstallation problem

Same error here. Compaq Visual Fortran 6.5/6.6.
I think is a problem related to Windows XP SP3.

- Solution:
Re-install Windows XP SP3 (integrated).
Right after installation (no reboot) run the CVF installer. It will work.
Then do normall installation stuff.
If you have Windows XP SP2 you won't have any problem.
Hope it helps.

Couldn't find ANY solution with SP3 installed before CVF installation.

I cannot run Visual Studio 6 on Acer Aspire 5920

No I don't think that is the problem here, what kind of CPU do you have? Is it a AMD 64-bit processor? The application is triggering an invalid register in the system command processor. More than likely that version of Visual Studio had limited support for the AMD CPU... multi-core... x64... You can try updating Visual Studio with the last service pack offered or upgrade to something like Visual Studio .NET 2005 (VS 8.0). Microsoft offers the Express Versions for free online... I doubt you'll have a problem with a modern high-level compiler; you can also run a Registry Repair Tool to see if there are any invalid registry entries. I use Uniblue Registry Booster because they're a Microsoft Certified Partner.

Office xp is not installing on windows xp service pack2

When Microsoft publicly releases a particular Service Pack,
it does not change at all. If future updates are recommended,
they are available at the Windows Update web site.

In other words, there are no differing versions of a
Service Pack "build" once it is designated as RTM
(Released To Manufacturing).

"Build" is the version number when the CD was pressed, normally the RTM
(release to manufacture).

so, the solution to your problem is get another XP cd and reinstall it..
