The devices need to be in discovery mode, just having the Bluetooth On doesn't make it discoverable. Set the device to discoverable in the Bluetooth menu.

A friend connected a android phone's bluetooth to my itower. it worked, but now my iphone bluetooth does not connect. Can anyone please help me!

Pairing with iPhone
  1. Connect the iPhone Dual Dock or iPhone Bluetooth Travel Cable to a USB 2.0 port on your computer (not on the keyboard).
  2. Connect iPhone and the headset to the dock or cable. The headset pairs with iPhone automatically.
Pairing iPhone Bluetooth Headset with another Bluetooth-enabled deviceTo pair the iPhone Bluetooth Headset with another wireless device, such as a Bluetooth-enabled phone or computer.
Step 1: Set the headset to be discoverable
  1. Turn off the headset.
  2. Press and hold the headset button for about eight seconds, until you hear the startup tone and then five quick high beeps.

The headset is now discoverable and will remain so for about five minutes. The status light blinks while the headset is discoverable.
Step 2: Turn on Bluetooth on the other device and search for devices
  1. On the device, turn Bluetooth on and set the device to search for other Bluetooth devices.
  2. On the device, choose iPhone Bluetooth Headset and enter the PIN code 0000.
See the instructions that came with your other Bluetooth-enabled device for more information about pairing it with Bluetooth devices.

its the iphone, they still have not designed them to be "device friendly".
Still, Apple is playing their proprietary game where they refuse to make their devices compatible with others throughout the world. Having said that, the iPhone 4, is still only designed for voice to Bluetooth, handset to apple/mac interface, and for streaming music to compatible stereo Bluetooth headsets. I apologize for the not so good news, but apple still refuses to impliment software that makes this devices accessible from most other handheld devices.

Htc touch pro2 doesn't recognize bluetooth headphones during search for devices

The problem is not with the phone. You have to set the headphones to be visible to your cell phone. Look in the headphone instructions for the procedure to pair with a blue tooth device.

Are you enabling the Bluetooth? (i.e. is the Bluetooth icon appearing at the top right of the screen?) If not you'll have to enable it and scan for devices from the Bluetooth menu thats in the settings area.

Iphone bluetooth codes

Unless the code has been changed, the default code is 0000 (four zeros). Be sure the phone's bluetooth setting is turned on and discoverable. Next press and hold the headset's power button until the light turns on steady. Then using the phone select "search for a new device", when it discovers the headset it will ask for the PIN number, enter 0000, then select pair. It should take only a few seconds. When done be sure to turn discoverable off so other bluetooth enabled devices cannot access your phone. Good luck to you
