CS 6000 Brothers thread caught on bobbin case

I ran over a straight pin and my needle broke, and afterwards the top thread began to always tangle around the bobbin case. I replaced the bobbin case with a new one, but the problem still occurs. Is it possible that the leaf spring is warped? Please I need help for my CS6000! Also is there a repair manual available for this machine? Thank you! 8-)
