Hey, Thanks. I could only turn the fridge off with the push button on the panel since the fridge is a huge built in. I let it stay off for about 5 minutes and turned it back on. The light did not come on. I pressed the HOLIDAY MODE button and the LED settings and the lights came on.

Thanks for your help. It got me to start thinking.

OK Thanks. I'll look for the panel if this problem should occur again. I appreciate all of your help.

all lights go off, the fridge seems to be cooling. When I unplug the fridge, and after about 5 minutes I plugged it back again, everything worked fine.

About 5-10 minutes after, same problem. The only light flashing is door open. When I press the holiday mode button twice, everything comes back on, HOWEVER, after a while all lights go off.

Doing a master reset, pulling out the AC plug, and waiting close to 10 minutes does not help. It resets, but then happens again after a while.

I have the Kitchenaid side by side door KSSC48QMS01

    Thanks,

    Glen

I replaced one of the bulbs in my fridge last night and then decided to clean a shelf while I was at it. The door was open for 5 minutes and the next time I opened the door none of the lights went on.
I turned the power off for 10 minutes to see if it needed a reset but that didn't help either. Thanks in advance for your help.

Circuit breaker? Most panels are clearly labled and you could remove power this way by switching off the circuit breaker doing a hard reset in effect. Please look away when switching off and back on for safety reasons.

My interior lights in my Viking VCSB423 are out, I tried replacing 2 of the bulbs, it went out after door was open for an extended period of time,(like 10 minutes)

sandra, not being sarcastic but why keep the fridge open for ten minutes? It can cause other problems too. Try not to keep the fridge open for long after bulb change and see if it works. Good luck.

Kitchen aid top shelf warm

  1. check gasket
  2. check the light switch on top of the refrig. section. If then pushed the switch turns the light off, but the light is still on with the fridge door closed - door needs adjustment.

Power and no lites in refrig/freezer; beeping

depending on age of unit, the problem may lie in the light bulb, well the door closing anyway, the newer unit s actuall will shut down all interior lights, in the evnet that teh door is left open for more then 2-3 min, so its possible that a light switch is not being activated so the uit thinks the door is open and has shut down the rest of lights, cooling however does continue normally.

Freezer has frost building and the refridgerator is too warm.

make sure the evaporator fan is working, open door and push switch in if fan works make sure opening from freezer to fridge is not blocked. if door was removed make sure light in fridge is shuting off if temp in fridge is in the 50 degree range your light switch is not being deactivated check spacers between door and hinge . sometimes when door is removed a spacer will fall on floor and light switch is not hitting door

Kitchen Aid KSRJC Overheating

There is a heating cable that runs down the door in most fridges it might have a relay that is fussed closed and the heater is always on. I would strongly recommend that you get someone out to look at it as all electrical faults can be quite serious if they are not treated.
A domestic refrigeration tech should be able to fix it for you.

We had the same problem. Our fridge was beeping and the lights would not come on. To stop the beeping and turn the lights back on we had to press the OVER TEMPERATURE RESET button. As soon as we did this, the lights came back on and beeping stopped. Hope this helps.
