My computer will not display a image on my screen. it powers on anf powers off multiple times in minutes. what do i do?

Disconnect it from computer and power. wait 15 minutes and plug only the power back in, press the power on button. The monitor may display a message that there is no signal or something like that. If that happens the problem is either the cable or the computer. If you get no message then look for the menu button and press it to see if any thing appears. If not find the manual on line and read it. Many times monitors get over-driven by computers to the point that they can't display OR they self destruct.


OR

Another way is to just unplug everything computer and monitor for 15 minutes. Plug in monitor first then plug in computer and press the power button, the display should display the booting information if the cable is good and the monitor is good.

sounds like you did not setup image screen.

detect - will show 1 &2 on each screen

To change your display image your computer needs to communicate with the Yahoo! servers. Sometimes this takes a longer time than usual. Make sure the source file you are using is not too big and you select it from the images list multiple times before pressing ok. Be patient, it's just temporary.

Hi, What causes multiple images on screen is when a flex is faulty multiple images comes out.

The flex is threadlike object that makes the screen ofthe phone display.it is weak and it needs to be replaced.

When you replace it, it will display a normal screen .

try to press and hold Fn and F8 - this is to toggle screen setting to ext and back to LCD on laptop. if nothing happens turn off computer by pressing power button, unplug the ac adapter, remove the battery. remvoe residual electricity from computer by pressing power button 10 times. just plug again the ac and leave the battery out. Pres and hold the letter D and while holding that press the power button once and release both of them. it will perform the built in self test on the lcd. if nothing happens, turn off computer. press anf hold Fn and while holding it press power button. it will perform diagnosis on computer. if still nothing happens need to repalce motherboard and LCD.

i think it's more the computer than the projector. the projector just shows what is on the computer screen.

unplug everything. press power button continously for one minute.
helps sometimes. sometimes repeating multiple times helps. sometimes repairs the issue for a few months and then finally breaks for good.

Turn on pc
Take a hairdrier at full 2000watts and apply heat into computers vent in upper right corner for approx 2-3minutes - screen will turn on and off due to the heat - turn computer off - now apply pressure to keyboard around J K L and enter buttons several times or use pressure with your palm without damaging keyboard,only firm pressure - wait 5-10 minutes for pc to have cooled down - power on and it will ligt up screen..this helped on mine....
