Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

I have apsc 2100 printer. I am trying to install new cartidges. I put them in and just before installation is complete it comes up scanner failure - turn your printer off and then on again and then it starts the process again and it will allign the cartidges. and It makes a clicking noise.

    fooling with it and it is now working. I have trouble everytime I install a new cartridge. Thank you. Flo Lindstrom

Try resetting it by unlugging it from the power and trying again afterr 20 mins

    Oh yes, and I always change settings on the HP software on your task bar, I have found the printer seems to get heldup if settings are changed from windows.

Wont see new cartidges


hello,
Check whether you installed the cartridges correctly.
Turn off the printer and open the cartridge compartment.Make sure:-
  • The black cartridge goes to the left carrier.
  • The color cartridge goes to the the right carrier
  • The transparent paper at the bottom of the cartridges is removed before installing them.
  • The cartridges are securely fixed.
  • The scanner unit is closed after installing cartridges.

It says check print cartridge


first of all turn off the printer ... remove the cartidge.... try to clean the slots where the cartidges gets installed as well you will find dotted bronze spots on the cartidges try to clean it... turn on the printer and inser the cartidge... if u still get the error the msg for both the cartidge try putting in a new cartidge id you can and if still there is the messag if might be th problem with printer.... replace the printer....

The printer reinstalls everytime i connect it. tried updating the driver that i downloaded from HP website. but the problem has not stopped, and now, the scanner is not working, and i get the 'check the...


disconnect the printer from the PC / Laptop and try some standalone tasks like Black / Color photocopy or receiving / sending faxes. If still there is "check the cartridges" then there is something wrong with cartridges and you need to replace them.
Fully uninstall all the drivers and related HP softwares. Try a fresh installation downloaded from HP download site http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=351125&
. If you have multiple HP products install them according to there software version.
If still problem, the OS needed to be reinstalled.

Printer problem


You have to install the printer dear. Just put the cd come along with your printer or download the drivers from canon site

Have put in a new colour cartridge but the note on the printer comes up error 50C


Cartridge Error 50C
Your print cartridge has shorted.
  1. Power off your All-in-One and unplug it.
  2. Plug in your All-in-One again and turn it on.
  3. Uninstall and then reinstall your cartridges.
  4. If this does not resolve the issue, try the troubleshooting steps for the other cartridge errors below.
Error: Black Cartridge Missing
The black cartridge is not installed. (Install cartridge PN 82)

Error: Color Cartridge Missing
The color cartridge is not installed (Install cartridge PN 83)


Cartridge Error
Complete the following instructions:
  1. Power off your All-in-One.
  2. Use both hands to lift up the scanner unit until the scanner support holds it open.
  3. Turn the All-in-One on. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the All-in-One is busy.
  4. Remove the color print cartridge.
  5. Lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
  6. If the error message reappears, replace the black print cartridge with a new print cartridge.
    If it does not repeat steps 1-3 and then go to step 7.
  7. Reinstall the color cartridge and remove the black print cartridge.
  8. Lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
  9. If the error message occurs again, replace the color cartridge.
  10. If an error message reappears, repeat steps 1-3 and reinstall both print cartridges.
  11. Lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
  12. If you receive the error message again, replace both cartridges.

MP530 Print Cartidge Problems


Hi shortiered,

Sounds like your orginal driver installation has become corrupted. Try this: completely remove unit and its software from your computer, not forgetting to unplug all cables. Go to the folling url(copy and paste in the address bar) for the latest software for your unit. It's easiet if you create a new folder on your desktop and name it mp530 drivers, save down load here. Install software first, reboot and plug your cables in, windows will reconize new hardware and install it for you or it may ask if you have installation disk or installation file, click yes and direct download to the folder you created for your new drivers. Printer won't process new catridges. These cartridges have been refilled.


Did you install the original cartridge? if you have the old empty cartridge, try to install it and check the error is empty cartridge..if so the problem is the newly installed cartridge. try to buy the new original one.
