Why wont it turn on!

Check the power supply... If your desktop power led indicator has the light and your PC doesnt have display. Its means that your PC's hardware had problems.before you turned on the desktop,,, remove the memory card/s and wipe or clean the connector surface of your memory card/s with soft cloth or tissue paper. After you clean,, insert and test them one by one.

Hi my computer page keeps saying ( the page cannot be displayed)???

Not enough info given. You either dont have an internet connection or your computer doesnt have an active IP and DNS address and probably your subnet mask is set wrong. If you are not familiar with networking, you will probably need help desk help to set your internet connection up correctly.

Cant do anything

Since you don't have sound on the computer, its possible the drivers are missing for sound, and possibly for other things also, you may be missing your network card drivers, or wireless drivers and so your unable to open up the router page.

Note that your network cards ipaddress needs to be changed to the right range for the page to open.

if your router / modem manual says the default ip is 192.168.0.1 then you will need to set your computers ip to the same range, 192.168.0.5 / 255.255.255.0 for example.

instructions on how to set your ip are here
http://www.home-network-help.com/set-ip.html

ones you have been in the modem, remember to restore the ip to automatic so you have internet access when it works again.

Note that if your just missing the drivers, after installing the drivers your internet should work automatically without looking inside the modem.

Modem wont load the internet while router is plugged in

It is hard to tell from here with the amount of detail supplied but here goes...
There are a number of things that could cause this:
1) Modem does not realize that the router is plugged in and has not given it an IP Address. Unplug the power to the modem and the router. Wait 60 secs and plug in the modem, wait another 60 secs and turn on the router, 60 seconds after this boot up your computer.
2) Some ISPs record the MAC addresses of the device connected, if this is the case you need to dig ot the router manual (page 53), go into the management console and have the router clone the MAC address.
3) Miswired. It should be ISP cable to modem, cat5 from modem to the WAN port on the router and then a cat5 cable from any of the ports labeled 1,2,3,4 to the computer. In your setup do NOT use the uplink.
4) Misconfigured router. Reset the router back to factory default by inserting a paperclip into the tiny reset switch located in the front panel.
5) Defective router or cable.

My wireless router works, I set it up correcty, it can be detected and it connects to local area connection, but every time I go on the internet, it tells me that my home page and every other page cannot...

It seems then that your connection from the pcs to the router is ok but your router connection to the internet is not. If you connect directly to the modem, is it ok?

You must enter your isp logon info into the setup of the router. (especially on DSL connections requiring logon info)
or
There is a cabling problem with your router to your modem. Make sure that your modem is plugged into the WAN port of the router and (if you have one) the WAN light is on.

HELP II

I suspect that when you connected the Hardware (the Modem) you did not install the drivers and/or did not re-enter the settings that your ISP gave you.

Contact your ISP's Help desk. These usually run 18 or 24/7 to answer questions just like this. They can run through a series of questions and supply settings that will get you back onto the Internet all while you are on the phone.

Good luck.
