Dryer not start. timer still work but nothing else.

The fuse is mounted on the heater element. When it blows nothing in the heater or motor circuit works but the power to the timer is not interrupted therefore you can hear. Service manual

Is it gas or elec?
Have you checked the breakers?
Does the outlet have power?
Model# ?
Try setting timer in a different cycle.
Make sure door is completely closed.
Push door switch in manually does it click?
Please update lat me know what else I can do to help.

I would suggest checking and probly replacing especially if you cant hear the timer motor.

Keep going. Voltage at the switch ? Voltage coming from the switch?None out then switch is bad.Voltage at the motor but not running? Motor is bad, Etc.

yes, try unplugging the power cord or turning off the breaker for 5 minutes. Either will due. Some times the system needs to be reset!
If this does not work there are internal fuses that can be replaced!

DOOR SWITCH

most likely its the timer it has electrical contacts built on the timer that allow it to start its cycle if the timer has bad contacts it wont allow dryer to come on
