Check the scart connections are in tight (if that's what you are using). You may also want to try another cable. Also, make sure you have the correct input selected on your TV; the button on your remote should be either a circle or square with an arrow through it and possibly labelled source or AV.

Have problem with Philips On digital terrestrial receiver (DV3). Since the digital switchover in Bolton, where I live, it wont let me do an update. Can't get any channels now. Stewart

Try unplugging the unit from the wall, unplug the Aerial cable from the box. Plug the mains back in and switch on. Do a channel scan (with the aerial still unplugged). Reconnect aerial and do another scan. With luck it will have flushed the old settings and pick up the channel changes.

Installing a receiver

plug the receiver directly to the tv first without the panasonic. set up the receiver . then add the panasonic. the panasonic probably doesnt have a digital tuner so use composite av cables (yellow, red, white) from the reciever to the player

Digital Converter Box

Hi William

You TV is able to receive Free to air Terrestrial Analog broadcasts by just connecting the antenna. However if you wish to receive Digital Terrestrial broadcasts (DVB), you need to obtain a digital receiver for Terrestrial Digital Broadcasts. It can be easily connected to your TV.

turn off at the mains and wait 20secs turn back on and hold the standby button untill a light appears.
in sequence up down left right menu ok press the buttons on the front of the box wait 60 seconds and the normal red light will appear turn on box and there you go.
Good Luck further issues visit www.topuptv.com WARNING- doing this procedure will swipe your library but i think it is the only solution
