A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Where is the SSID number

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

  • Download a program that will scan your network for hidden SSIDs. Many free utilities are capable of doing this, including inSSIDer, NetStumbler and or Kismet (see Resources). Only inSSIDer will show the hidden SSID. NetStumbler and Kismet will find networks with hidden SSIDs and display most of their information, but list the SSID as "Unknown."

  • 2
    Run the program and click the "Scan Now" or "Scan" button. The program will scan your wireless network for all signals coming from other networks, both hidden and broadcasting their SSIDs.

  • 3
    View the list of networks that appears when the scan concludes. All networks within range of yours will appear on the list. Compare the list with the list of wireless networks that your computer routinely picks up to determine which are hidden and which were already broadcasting their SSIDs.

How do i print in colour, seems to have been set to b&w only

You can adjust these settings on a per print basis, but to correct it for color for every print:

These instructions vary depending on whether you are running Windows XP vs Vista or 7, but they are somewhat the same.

Go to Control Panel > Printers

Right-click on your Epson printer, choose "Properties"

Look for color versus grayscale setting

Vista or 7
Go to Control Panel > Devices & Printers

Right-click on your Epson printer, choose "Printer Properties"

Look for color versus grayscale setting

An error popped up saying that the windows Vista Ultimate Key Typed is invalid for activation.

Look carefully at the key:
- OH versus ZERO
- ONE versus ELL
- FIVE versus ESS
- EIGHT versus BEE

Did you purchase a GENUINE copy of Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition,
or did you obtain the software from other "non-official" sources ?

After the error message popped-up, did it offer a hyperlink to "get genuine" ???

How do i connect the netbook to my wireless network

It depends on the OS you're running. Basically, go into the Network Wizard and setup the new connection properties. It's different for Windows XP versus Vista and Windows 7.

When i am installing os it is getting struck & giving error like os(xp, 98,vista,2008) can not format drive or bad formated partition .it is 80gb ata HDD

Any "small" disk-drive, such as your 80GB disk-drive is "out-of-warranty".

If you are going to install an Operating System, spend $50 to buy a new disk-drive,
probably faster (7200 RPM versus 5400 RPM) and bigger (320GB versus 80GB)
than your "antique" disk-drive.

I bought a notebook with preinstalled microsoft home office and student 2007 package, for which the product key supplied doesnt work. can anyone help please.

Was the 25-character product key labelled "Microsoft Windows (something)" or "Microsoft Office (something)" ?

Be sure that you have used the correct key:
* ZERO versus OH
* ONE versus ELL
* FIVE versus ESS
* EIGHT versus BEE

What you probably got was a "30-day-trial" version of the software.
So, after 30 days, you either must stop using the software,
or purchase a license-key, either at a retail computer-store, or online, through Microsoft's E-commerce web-site.

I keep loosing the internet connection; doesn't stay

I had the same problem with my connection, and in my case it was signal related. I Am using a belkin USB adapter. I downloaded netstumbler(it is free, just google it) and found that you had to have a signal noise ratio of about 22 to have a reliable internet connection that doesn't drop out. So download netstumbler(link below) and see what your current signal noise ratio is, then just place your adapter where you get the best signal noise ratio.
I built myself a modified windsurfer. You just take a A4 paper and glue aluminum foil with the bright side facing outwards. then arch your paper in a semi-circle and place it behind your adapter and angle it in the direction of your connection point. Remember that a line of sight is very important, so if you can place the adapter(assuming a dongle) on the window which is in the direction of of your connection point it will work . Also remeber that rain and wind does influence your signal. i hope this works for you, if not, feel free to mail me with more info on yor problem.

Remote Control Extender from Radio Shack

To determine if your PC will simply not connect or if really your wireless AP/Router, please download NetStumbler, install and run. The software will determine if there is an AP within your immediate area (including yours/high signal strength), if there is & it is yours, then it is configuration problem, it none or some but weak (low signal/not yours) then it is a hardware problem and would most probably require replacement. Most of the time, the cost/time of repair would make the purchase of a new one more reasonable. If your Wireless Ap/Router was detected by NetStumbler, then perhaps what you need is to re-configure your system/set-up again.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional; information.

Good luck and kind regards.
