Remove the front speaker grille and access panel and you will see the CRts there there should also be a Sguare block with 6 buttons on it 3 on top and 3 on the bottom 3 are for focus and 3 are for Screens or G@ try turning the blue CRT down just a little see if that stops the blue with retrace lines. Let me know how you make out.

your tv's hardware might got the problem. this should fix with an expert technician that they have a tools for fixing this problem. if repairing will cost you alot then i suggest that you have to buy a new tv insted of repairing your old tv. hope that helps!
A few years back when we did pioneer Warranty work, I sent them a roll of solder because it was obvious they were out at the factory..... Many problems with Pioneers can be because of cold or intermittent solder connections. so the first thing a tech should do is simply re-solder all the boards. Sounds like you have a intermittent connection in the convergence circuit this would cause the red, green and blue to appear to separate
check the convergence area for bad solder http://home.earthlink.net/~oleg.filippov/ConvergenceFix.htm http://cmpalmer.blogspot.com/2006/11/fixing-my-own-tv-part-ii.html Sony Convergence http://www.techlore.com/blog/entry/19694/Sony-Convergence-Repair-My-Sony-TV-has-a-distorted-picture-/ http://www.techlore.com/article/19631/Sony-Convergence-Procedure/
1) Unplug wire harnesses = pull chassis ( requires 2 chassis bolt
removal)
2) Dis-mount Convergence / power supply board = the one with
large heatsink
3) Locate 5 volt regulators mounted to heatsink
4) Remove old solder from pins of all four regulators =
Re-solder + solder any / all bad conncts on board....
5) Replace bad 4 amp fuse hidden in power supply area...
6) Reassemble
