I cannot sign in to my yahoo messenger.. i type in correct ID and passward.. so why i cannot get signed in???

When you a have an account with yahoo mail automatically you are sign to yahoo messenger. So you need a yahoo ID before you can enter yahoo messenger and you have you have yahoo id you will log in with your yahoo id and password. to enter yahoo messenger.

You can click on yahoo messenger icon and enter you id and password and then click sign in.

But if don't have the yahoo messenger icon, just go to yahoo and click on yahoo messenger and enter your id and password to sign in.

double click icon of yahoo messenger you will see sign id and password type there click signin

Dear Brother,

• Install messenger by Clicking HERE
• Simple Setup File will Download
• Click on it and Run without Disconnecting internet Connection
• Downloading may take Several time Depends on Your Connection Speed.
• After Downloading Completed Click Next Follow instruction Finish Installation
• Yahoo messenger Icon will be automatically place on Desktop after installation
• Click on it(if there is not loaded Messenger Automatically after Installation)
• Type User Name Correctly(your Yahoo ID)
• Type Password Correctly;check& make sure to OFF CAPS LOCK ON (Your Yahoo Password)
• Click on Sign in
• You are Signed in

If you want to add Contacts in Messenger

• There you can see a PLUS(+)button as Top left of yahoo messenger(if you place mouse button near to it,then there will be appear as 'Add a contact')
• Click on it
• Type the Messenger ID you want to add correctly(Yahoo ID of your Friend/Relative)
• Click on next
• Yahoo will check and make pending for accepting your Request
• After Receiving your Request(When your Buddy Come online and accept Your Request) ,Then Both of you are able to See Each other if ONLINE
• This way you can Add more Buddies to your Messenger.
• You are Ready to Use..

If you know the correct password you can unlock it by opening http://www.yahoo.com/r/m6 or http://mail.yahoo.com, for the first time type your ID correctly and type any password(if password is wrong no problem), click Sign In . in reply the same page will appear again... this time type your ID and password correctly, type the captcha verification code correctly as shown in image box and click Sign In. if your password is right your ID will be unlocked.

Open your web browser type http://login.yahoo.com or http://mail.yahoo.com or http://www.yahoo.com/r/m6 type your ID and password and click sign in...in reply that same page will open again...Type your ID and Password correctly as well as captcha code as shown on Image.....click sign in....you are done..

It may be the server is down, it's been happening a lot lately or your Yahoo! Messenger connection information may be incorrect. Yahoo! will fix it soon.
