I dont have a solution, but my aunt purchased this phone and a new SD card, and I have put pictures and music for ringtones from my computer to the SD Card, and when I put it back into her phone (Samsung R451C) I can not bring any of the pictures up and I can bring the music for the ringtones, but I cannot set it as a ringtone. I am sure if I was able to bring the pictures up, that I probably would not be able to set them as a wallpaper or nothing also...So I kind of have the same problem with setting my aunt's pictures and music with the same phone too...

I need a manual for a samsung sch-r451c

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/SCH-R451ZKGTRF

for your SD card music files, use a microSD card adaptor and copy from any netbook/notebook around. Usually, they have a SD card reader. If you dont have a microSD card adaptor, you can find one relatively cheap in any electronics store that sells cameras, pc's. laptops, etc.

Why cant i put music on my lg env3 from my mirco sd card?

You can, just hook your phone up to your computer vie USB cord. When hooked in, open phone go to 9. Settings & Tools then 2. Tools then 9. USB Mass Storagethis will connect the mirco sd card. PC under My Computer>removable drive open you should have folders listed go to My_Music, drag your mp3's to that folder. If using a Mac it needs to be a new Mac to recognize the mirco sd card, do the same steps as above and the mirco sd card will show up on the desktop as a drive.

LG banter won't recognize data on SD mirco card

Please try to back up the music and picture that you have on the memory card, try to format the card using the phone before transferring the music and pictures again. Try to consider the memory capacity of the card, make sure that it is compatible with the phone.

I bought a pny 4gb micro sd card for my phone and while my phone will except it when i put it in my computer and try to put music on it it says that there is 0 memory on it and there doesnt seem to be...

It's probably just that you aren't using the correct folders, but...

First, make sure you phone TRUELY sees it as it should. Some phones don't properly handle SDHC cards. As long as it's a picture phone, put in the card(blank and formated) and take some pictures. If you have a data plan, download a tune or two (sprint has "free sample" mp3 download of the week).

Now, take the card out, and access it with the computer.
You should see a picture folder, and a media folder(names depend on the type of phone you have)

Specifically, the music folder is where you want to put your music files.
Also, depending on your phone(you didn't say what kind you had) you should begin trying by uploading 128Kbps mp3 files. Most modern phones should handle that format.

Now, return to the phone, and test it out with either your "mass storage manager" app, or your media player app.

PNY MICRO SD 2GB

Files must have the correct extension. i.e. .wav or .mp3 or whatever the music player requires. You may need to convert the sound file to a different type for the device to see it. It may show in one device and not another for this reason
