Question about KitchenAid Architect Series KEMC308KSS Electric Double Oven

KitchenAid Architect Series KEMC308KSS

My display turned completely off so I thought I popped a breaker. Breaker was good so I pulled the unit out and removed the top cover to check for power. Power everywhere, even to the display. I know what your thinking( The control panel went bad) I thought the same thing. Was waiting to find one online and today(a week later) everything came on. I thought "cool". Put the top cover back on and pushed it back in all the way and secured it, then I tried to test it. Hit 30 start and as soon as I hit start it all went blank again. Im I in denial that it is the control panel or am I missing something?

Check your power connections at the junction box, the unit for the clock is only pulling an amp at the most, but when you try to use the ove your putting the electrial connections under a load and if not tight or right will cut off the display and main cpu unit
there is a loose connection somewhere

The display panel is blank, and none of the buttons work. It had been working earlier in the day, but is no longer functioning. Is there a breaker button?

Hi, Check to see if there are any lights working, such as the ones that come on when you open the oven doors. If there is absolutely no power going to the unit, check the household circuit breaker panel that services the oven.
An oven works at 240 volts so the circuit breaker for it will be a double breaker, similar to the ones
electric water heaters or air conditioning units. It may have tripped. If it is tripped, then
the lever connecting the two sides of the breaker will not line up with other breaker switches in the
breaker panel. If that is the case, shut down the breaker completely and then after about 10 seconds,
turn it back on. If it will not stay on, there is an electrical problem in the circuit going to the oven or the oven itself. Hope this helps. Let me know if your need more help.
Best,
Mark

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2-E0 on your kitchen aid means that the keypad is shorted and to resolve this issue you’ll have to replace the electronic range control/clock (ERC). Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
