Is the "GeForce MX4000" compatible with the Dell Ins prion 560?

Which brand and model of GeForce MX4000 are you looking at? There are some that use an AGP interface; these are not compatible with your machine. The PCI versions will work depending on your OS. The drivers are in the Nvidia Legacy drivers list.

The Dell Inspiron 560 has only one PCI connector. You'll need to check if the slot is occupied and remove that card. (Note: the 300 W power supply that the Inspiron 560 came with should drive this card. However, the power output has to give 18A. You may need to upgrade the power supply.)

You could consider a different card with a PCIe x16 bus. You have one slot for that type of graphics card

I hope this helps.

My dell inspiron 560 wont recognize any disc it acts like nothings in it how do i fix it?

Check Device Manager in Safe Mode by pressing F8 during boot. Right click My Computer > Manage. Select Device Manager > View > Show Hidden Devices. Now delete all DVD/CD-ROMs and reboot. Windows will say "New Hardware Found" and install. Check BIOS by pressing F key (correct F key is noted during boot) and make sure BIOS see's the Optical Drive.

My newly purchased dell inspiron 560 will not connect to the network due to "an invalid ip address". 10 other computers are working fine on the network. Any solutions?

You will need to manually configure the IP for your Local Network Connection: right click on the notification icon, go to Properties, double click Internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Or click properties, click Use the following IP address and input the correct data according with the settings in your network - change just the IP first.

MY DELL INTEGRATED WEBCAM HAS BEEN WORKING BEAUTIFULLY. BUT NOW, WHEN I'M FILMING, I NOTICE THE FILM SEEMS TO BE SLOWING AND SPEEDING UP SO THAT THE FINAL FILM HAS JUMPS IN IT. IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING.

This can happen for several reasons :
1 - Multiple applications running in the backgroud (Antivirus / Spyware etc...)
2 - Internet activity, slowing the processor.
3 - Lack of space / Poor fragmented drive.
4 - Drivers may be corrupted
Corrective Actions
1 - Close any 'unwanted / redundant applications when playing with videos.
2 - Disconnect ethernet or wireless when creating videos.
3 - Make space on the Harddrive (you will need 'double' the space of the video, as atemprary version is normally created first - A 30minute video ideally will require a minimum of 500meg to 1gig of space just to start with.
4 - Re-install your web-cam drivers

Computer Acting Crazy

Hello, i have had this problem with my dell, and believe it or not, it is probably your mcafee. Your mcafee could be using most of your processor and your ram, i suggest to reinstall mcafee, look at some upgrades for ram (Random Acess Memory), or buy a new anti virus/anti spyware. Such as eset, norton, zone alarm, and many others.I hope that this helped you!
