Question about Casio EXILIM Card EX-S770 Digital Camera

Won't turn on

I have had my camera for only 4 months, and it has hardly been used. It won't turn on, so i have had it sat it the pod all day, and it still won't turn on. The red light on the pod is constantly flashing too and not going green to say it is charged.

What do you think the problem is?

Thank you

my camera will not charge. it has a red blinking light and never goes green. if i press the 'Photo' button the slideshow works but nothing charges and it will not turn on whatsoever. could it be the battery is completly dead and will not even charge or what?

I just ran across the same problem. The light on the charging pod stays green and I can view the slide show when it is on the pod but I can not turn the camera on. Maybe the problem is with the battery.

Wow, me too I have the same problem and I can also view the slides! Except I know that it's not the battery for a fact because I went through the whole hassle of buying new batteries and a new charger where you plug directly into the wall and it still doesn't work. I guess no one has a solution... What a horrible defect. And it started not working when I turned on the camera and the lens came out, but I right away it broke down. And it took a while before I figured out how to shut the camera off to get the lens back inside.

Wher can I buy a usb cable for my Polaroid m737t?

Consider NOT using the USB connection.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Even if you have to buy a card reader, it won't cost much more than a USB cable.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

My Lumix DMC-LX5 camera won't turn on

Things to check first for a camera that won't turn on are battery contact points, and micro switches that are located on the battery and memory card doors. Troubleshooting tips on other things that need to be checked may be seen here. These tips won't work for every case, but they're worth a try.

I have a Kodak DC290 which has not been used for a while. Put new AA's in it but it won't turn on. Camera belonged to my husband, who recently passed away. Also can't find the manual. Can you...

If it sat a long time with old batteries, make sure they did not leak and corrode the contacts in the camera. Look at them and clean if necessary.

Posibley Broken LCD?

Use the viewfinder to take pictures on vacation, then have your camera looked at in a camera shop or repair shop to assess the damage. Might be cheaper to just get a new camera sometimes with labour costs and parts costs these days, but doesn't hurt to get it looked at for free!
