Bought new vivcam 5022 from Ebay got it in the mail and the start up disc is no good. I am trying to get ahold of the seller but to no avail. Is there a download I can get? Thanks David

If you bought it on Ebay, contact them and payPal.

use wb40 solution on the power buttton & try then.

If this purchase was through ebay, go to the ebay page under purchase history, and (under your purchase) contact seller to make them aware of the problem.
If you still don't hear from them (or have already done that) then under the same listing, click resolve a problem. It will contact seller for you and create a case (I am assuming this was listed as a working item) for item not as described. There is a link below for creating a case.
I would also recommend using the ebay learning center to go through the other policies when you make purchases on ebay.

you can ask the seller if they have a tracking number for the item you bought...i see in the auction it was suppose to be sent usps priority mail..if they did it through paypal the tracking number will be displayed in your my ebay page in item bought/won...if its not there, they didnt ship it through paypal but went to the post office the mail it

check your won items page..if the tracking number isnt there...email the seller and ask for a tracking number...usps priority mail only takes 2-3 days to arrive

You can contact the Ebay Customer support and lodge a complaint against the seller. Ebay will try to get in touch with the Seller and provide you the details. Ebay will take necessary action against the seller (if found guilty) which may result his account suspension with Ebay.

Even if your item is not shipped your payment is protected by Paypal Buyer protection plan.

Request the seller details from eBay then contact the Police without delay.

check Ebay.....there were a few sellers that sold those and extra batteries. I own a set an I pai $25.00 for a pair on ebay new...you actually might find a used set for really cheap on there that would have decent batteries in it. Unfortunatly I can't remember the voltage of those small batteries. If you can find a battery of the same voltage/type of rechangeable, that will fit into that small area/case, you can just wire it up to be used. Check Ebay.... they are really cheap on there.... contact one of the sellers to see if they stock them. You can also check the Xact website or get ahold of one of their reps for recommendations if your really stuck. Take care
