Icons on desktop disappearing
my desktop icons disappear and reappear. Installed a wireless mouse a few weeks ago but I have not noticed this problem before today.

Xp or vista, which service pack, are you talking about the task bar.
If your talking about icons and not folders or the other way around,
there is a few fixes.
If running xp,make sure you have sp3,vista sp1.
