PictureProject was retired years ago, replaced by Nikon Transfer and Nikon ViewNX. You can download the current versions of all (free) Nikon software from
http://support.nikontech.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/61

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

How to transfer photos to gmail from the nikon p250 camera

Load the picture files onto your computer first. Open gmail and add pictures to your email by clicking on attachment/ photo and direct software to the directory where you stored your photos. Be aware that photo files are large and most email programs have a file size limitation. You can adjust the resolution done to lower file size so it depends on how you want to send the file. Typically I send 3-5 photos at a time. If you want to send large amounts of photos, use Dropbox software.

How to put pictures from a computer onto poweshot a480 camera?

First of all, if you've edited the pictures in any way (opening a picture in a photo editing program and then saving it without making any changes counts as editing) then the camera most likely won't be able to display the images.

You can transfer files (not just pictures) to the memory card using a card reader. Plug the card into the reader and it will appear to your computer as another hard drive. Simply drag-n-drop files to it the same way you copy other files on your computer.

Hello, I have a Lumix DMC-FS10, I have found that some of my photos have downloaded to thumbprint size which won't seem to go any bigger without distortion and some are normal I unfortunately deleted...

Actually, you still might be able to get those photos back, even though they've been erased. Try not to take any more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.
This sounds like the problem may have occurred because you might not have formatted the card in your camera as recommended by the manufacturer. If true, after you've recovered your photos, format the card in your camera using the camera's format feature. This will prevent this from happening again.

The file may be corrupt. Try a different file to verify this. There are utilities out there that can sometimes repair these damaged files.

Canon PowerShot S51S camera, trying to transfer photos from computer onto the memory card so we can use the card in a digital photo frame? Don't know how to transfer?

you have to use the data cable (which one come with your camera) to store pictures to your XP/Vista PC. Just connect the cable into your camera and PC, your PC detected your camera automatically as an drive, then you can transfer pictures.

Connect the Camera to the Computer using the supplied USB cable. The Computer will recognize the Camera as a removable drive and list in the Windows Explorer. Press the Windows logo on the keyboard along with the "E" key to open the windows explorer. If the Sony Camera is listed in the explorer as a removable drive then double click on it to open and navigate through the files and folders. Open the "DCIM" for images and "MP_Root" for videos. Once the images and videos are visible, right click on the desired file then select copy. Next, paste the selected file on the hard drive of the Computer.
