Brown screen I paused a show I was watching and when I returned to the TV the screen was brown. The cable is working just fine along with sound. The picture is just gone and replaced with a brown rectangle covering the majority of the screen. Please help.

Try unplugging your television for a minute and then re-plug and allow it to reboot. After re-start, you will need to access the menu to re-scan for channels.

Hope this helps!

HOW TO GET THE SOUND TO MATCH THE LIP MOVEMENT ON 65" LG TV UN73OOPUF MODEL ?

That is called lag. it often happens on Bluetooth, satellite or Internet based television where the internet isn't fast enough for the quality of the broadcast. Often, you can fix this if you have a Pause feature. Pause for 5 minutes.

Sony videoscope xbr

would think you need to replace the cable board etc. the signal is not getting in and out right. can also be a fault on the power board giving the wrong volts so would check this to. it will tell you on the board what volts is supposed to be. the 5v and 12v should be spot on other volts will vary a little. also check the capacitors for the caps to be bowed up and a brown/ yellow gunk around them and under the board this can be a sign they are failing.

Hi, I have recently purchased an SR7005 which is connected to an HD PVR via Audioquest Cinammon HDMI cable. While watching programs, I lose audio immediately after an advertisement break. If I pause...

If you are watching adverts that implies a broadcast TV sound signal. What happens is that the broadcaster will switch off sound especially Dolby signals during add breaks. Therefore it could be your TV that stops sending the sound to the Marantz. So check the sound settings of you TV. It might have an auto feature that detects the signals, that could be switched to manual or just a wrong sound signal that causes the problem.

While watching an HD program live or recorded when paused picture goes dark after 10 seconds then comes back on after 30 seconds. Does not happen when watching SD programs. TV is new.

sounds like its simply just your tv's auto screen saver or another program along those lines its helps prevent burn in and other issues caused by leaving your tv with still images ok :) dont fret

Tv signal blacks out periodically

You might want to consider if this is a Cable box/TIVO issue before blaming the receiver. After all, if you can pause and rewind live TV you're probably watching all content through the hard drive.

Or suspect a marginal connection from the TIVO to the receiver if that is what you have. Does the receiver give any indication of digital signal loss when you lose audio?

I skip some of this exposure by running the video staright to the TV (the more interconnects, the more opportunities for problems).
