My unresolved question

Your response to my issue was that the "LOT" is not working. It would be helpful to also inform me what a "LOT" is?

My IM115 frigedaire ice maker, doesn't seem to be making ice fast enough

Hi,

The key to ice production is temperature, so if the unit is running at "0" the fan also has to run to cool faster. That a good look at these items and see where the issue may be. In this environment point blank information is the only way anyone could assist you. Lack of information causes no response or incomplete answers. Check the temperatures also check the ice maker for pealing or flaking mold issues. Good luck

U052

To try and resolve the U052 error on your PIXMA MP550, please remove the ink tanks and print head from the printer, then reseat them. If you still experience the same issue, please turn off the printer, unplug the power cord from the back and leave it out for at least 10 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it back on. If the issue is still unresolved, unfortunately, the printer will require servicing to resolve the issue.

You can contact Cannon here: Canon Contact Us

This information originally from: My printer Canon MP530 stopped working with an Canon Forum (also has a walk through for removing the printer head and ink cartridges.)

Just so you know, the 530 and 550 are the same machine, except the 550 has a few small improvements.

My receiver turns on .. but the amp doesn't .. and the screen flashes "protect" for some reason.. and all other buttons are non responsive.. can you help me?

If PROTECT , PROTECTOR or a P is flashing in the display of the A/V receiver, there may be an incorrect connection or an improper setting. Try following these steps to resolve this issue:

NOTE: Because each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the A/V receiver status after completing each step.

  1. Check the speakers and speaker wires for proper connections.
  2. Reduce the volume level.

IMPORTANT: If the A/V receiver is used at maximum volume level, it may enter the PROTECT mode. Maximum volume listening will cause the A/V receiver to run very hot and may drain the output capacitors.

  3. If applicable to your model, disable the surround sound option if both the A and B speakers are being used simultaneously.
  4. Ensure the top of the A/V receiver has proper ventilation to keep it from overheating.
  5. If the message only occurs when using a DVD player, the sampling frequency may be set too high.

IMPORTANT: Some A/V receivers provide compatibility with the higher sampling frequencies through alternate connections. Consult the owners manual for specific information.

  6. Unplug the AC power cord for approximately 1 to 2 hours to reset the output transformers.

If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required.

I am not on my compaq now, but my problem is that i cannot connect to the internet because the compaq can't seem to connect to the linksys network that all the other laptops are connected to. this happened...

This could be due to corrupt wireless drivers or corrupt BIOS settings. To isolate this, uninstall and reinstall the wireless drivers on the notebook. If issue persists, then update BIOS and check for the issue. Incase, if the issue is unresolved, then check if the Wireless network adapter is detected in Device Manager or not.

If it is not detected, then remove and reseat the wireless network card on the notebook. Incase, if the issue is unresolved, it clearly states that the wireless card on the notebook has gone bad. At this point, I would suggest you to take the notebook to any nearest Authorized Service Center in your location.

Replace the Mlan cable supplied with the EMU 1820M with a regular short length CAT 5 Network Cable - It is an unresolved power issue - this sorted my problem out.
Just remember to keep it away from sources of electrical interference.

Help Please!!! Alarm problem.

Hi.
With everything connected and ignition switched on, check the supply area around the ignition switch. If there is power there, the alarm interrupts the supply after the ignition switch.

Next with ignition on, check supply at the coil input. If there is no supply there, route cable from ignition switched live to coil supply +ve. All other circuits should get this bridged supply and work normally.

Remove any sounder.

If this doesn not work, let me know and I'll go into more detail.

Hope this helps.
