Clothes dryer overheating?

use your dryer on air dry only (not heat dry) run about 2 min. check if your dryer is hot, that is heating element is short to ground and if your dryer is cold, check your dryer air venting system. (open the door if you see lint on door panel, it is a sing of bad air flow, it is dangerous to fire) hope its help.

Clothes are no longer drying on the normal setting. dryer will run for approx 10-15 minutes and shut off. clothers are not dry. have tried other settings and same thing happens.

Try cleaning the metal sensor strips right inside the door opening on the back of the filter housing assembly. You can see them if you put your head in the drum and look down. They are metal, about 4" long or so and about 1/2" apart. Residue builds up on these and over time will not allow them to sense the moisture properly. You can clean them with sandpaper, steel wool, wire brush, or Scotch Brite pad. That will likely remedy your trouble...

Takes long to dry clothes

on your side, it is better you don't touch anything internal in the dryer as you can hurt yourself and spoil the device even more. have a professional take a look at it before you use it any further.

try replacing the power cord, and make sure that you have a "dedicated" power sorce for the plug. The system board will shut the dryer down if a power supply issue is detected. This feature is to prevent fire hazards. Make sure your electric box is grounded and up to code.

Error Code

I don't have a manual on the newest dryer like you have, but one of the models just older than yours has a F23 code that indicates a shorted thermistor.( temp sensor )
Since it is new you need to call for service. They will usually look up the code and tell you if it is anything you need to check but most likely you will need a repairman to repair it in warranty.
Post back if you have any questions.
