I have e-mailed Panasonic who tell me to take it to a local dealer with a customer complaint number. As the radio is less that 2 years old I consider it Not fit for Purpose as defined by The Sale of Goods Act. The problem has been known about for about 3-4years and Panasonic do not want to acknowledge it. I have asked for further instructions from Panasonic

I have a panasonic SC PT960 system. Haven't used in months. Turned on,got error code F76. Tried unplugging and plugging back in to reset, but it did not work. What is wrong with my system?

"F76" is a power supply problem. Could be something really simple or something much harder to figure out. These units aren't really user serviceable and it's way too old to still be in warranty(?) so maybe you've been whapped with a subtle hint to upgrade to a blu-ray HT system. You'd be able to keep the rest of the system and just replace the head unit.

F76 PDET

Could be a lot of things. Probably the power output transistor or it could even be a bad push to talk switch on your microphone. If you can give me more information it would help

Getting a f76 code on model # ncc-199 sv

F76 is usually a communication error between the remote and the heater. you may have just unplugged something inside the unit while it had power (don't do that). Just unplug the unit from the wall (or flip the breaker) and wait 10 sec and plug it back in again and the problem should fix itself. Otherwise there my be a loose wire going to your remote. In which case, try unplugging the remote and unit for 10 sec and plug the unit (only) back in with the remote disconnected. run your hot water and see if it works. if so it could be a problem with the remote or its wiring.

Sa-100bt i have an f76 error after taking unit apart i have found that there is a black wire next to where the fan plugs in this wire has been disconected does any one know where it goes thanks

Usually that is just to wrap around the fan cable to make sure it doesn't go into the fan. F76 error can be either the fan is not turning, or the amp is bad.

The radio turns off after 1 second after I turned it on. It gives me this code on the display: F76

Is this a panasonic system? If so, one of two things could cause this: the fan isn't turning or the amp is bad. Make sure the fan is clean and can spin freely. If this doesn't fix it, the amp is probably bad and needs to go in for repair.
