Overload = one of the speakers has a lower impedance than the amplifier can sustain, most likely it's shorted. Take them out one at a time till the message is gone and fix it if possible or replace it if not.

New device not found usb1 power overload

Dear inVaUSA, I followed your action and contacted 1-800-SAMSUNG but did not fare as well as you did. I was told there is not a firmware update nor a patch to fix the "New Device Not Found USB1 Power Overload" even after I read your post to the support representative I was dealing with. She told me that it is a PlayStation issue even though I have never connected any USB device to any USB Port on my Samsung TV. Could I Please trouble you to send me the firmware update you received from Samsung `in a private message or to my email address if you prefer. Thank you!

Turn on, in a few seconds Flashing "OVERLOAD"

Overload  usually only appears if you have been using higher volumes for a period of time and this trips to protect your speakers and amplifier. Turning off your amplifier and leaving for a while and it automatically resets. other wise a would check your speaker cabling to see if any wires are  touching shorting out the circuit. Try removing you cables from your amp then turn on. If it turns on without Overload appearing the problem is between amp and speakers. Check your cables at both ends and while at it give them a clean then hook up everything ( Amp should be off) then turn on the amp and see if you get message. If you still get this message you could have  dry/ broken soldering on the inside and the amp is detecting a dc short in the system. This seem to a common thing these days. In which it will be a repair job.  Low impedance speakers or speakers that have a wide impedance swing when they are running at high volume can cause a amp to trip if it hasn't got enough current to drive low impedance speakers. Hope this has been of help.

I have a HPw1907 monitor and it will turn on for about 2 seconds, and it turns off. The CPU is fine, just a problem with the monitor. Any way to fix this?

We have the same model of monitor and had the same problem few days ago. The monitor just goes black/turns off. I noticed that the power button has a yellow blinking light and cannot be turn on/off again using the power button. The CPU is working fine also. When I turn off the avr, the power button's light turns blue for a few second and you can hear a click sound from the back of the lcd before it totally turns off. My lcd monitor is over a year old now and is 110v or 220v capable. Mine was originally in a 220v, i just put it in 110v and the monitor was fixed.. Hope this can somehow fix your problem.

The receiver says "overload, turn power off" and after a day of letting it set it won't turn on and repeats the message

This is a variant of the "protect" mode for receivers. This indicates that a problem was detected in the final stage of the output amplifier and the unit has shutdown to prevent further damage. The "fix" for this is to replace either the output transistors or the amp-pac. I don't know which variant is used in your specific model. If it is the output transistors, expect a parts cost in the $15-$30 range. If an amp-pac, the parts will run in the $75-$100 range. Dan

Overload message in technics model SA- EX400P-K I have an older Technics system. It has worked great for years but now I get overload whenever I turn it on. Have changed speaker wires but no use. Any...

The overload message is the old version of "protect" mode. This means that a problem has been detected in the output amp section and that section is shutdown to prevent further damage. Your unit uses amp-pacs. One or more are bad. These are marked RSN3305P and cost about $66 each.
