L have a i880 and it is locking up on its own. When I try making a call, or even touching any and all buttons nothing is responding. The only button that respondes is the stop key on top of phone near antana to retrieve previous calls, but the scroll down does work or even call back. Please advise what can be done.

Re: i880 freezes up
Have you tryed to reset the phone by removeing the battery for a moment?
If that doesnt help, then its most likely a hardware side fault, it can also be a software side fault but in both cases the phone needs to be taken in for service. if you still have warranty, it will save you.
If you don't the repairs might cots, contact your dealer, a motorola shop or a local professional for repairs.

this should probably work try holding the homescreen button and the lock button at the top for about 15 seconds it should restart and you'll see the apple logo wait for a couple of minutes and you should be fine
Yeah, I recently bought a nokia n97, and already it is freezing. I lock the keypad, and then unlock to try and write a text, nothing. so i lock again and unlock nothing... I do this three or so times before it works:(. My phone was locked when somebody tried to call me, and as the screen was frozen, I could not answer....
HELP ME PLEASE.... I only got the phone about 2 months ago...
This happens around 5 times a day.... There is a chip in the screen, could this be the problem?
Have you tried doing a hard shut down? Hold the silver button down on the upper right corner and also the home button (center, bottom indented button) together for about 10 seconds. the phone will completly shut off. then wait about 10 seconds and hold down the upper right hand button until the apple appears on the phone then release the button and wait (20-30seconds) . Doing this usually solves all my issues with my iphone when it gets locked up like this.
