When making a greeting card, I can only work with the front of the card. I want to write a personal note on the inside. How do I get to the inside. When I click on "View Project" I can see the whole card, but I cannot do anything with it except on the front of the card.

Thanks yegarboy. I am disappointed that I cannot find a way to open the card and put a text on the inside page, but I can do it the way you suggested.

Put the front message in just the way you want it. Then print. Flip the paper over and print your inside message. Then when you fold it, it will be inside :)

Can you make cards using the same ideas and materials as scrapbooking?

Yes! Definitely. Scrapbooking uses exactly the same kind of materials and themes that can be used to personalize greeting cards. Your family and friends will be so appreciative of the effort if you make them a very special card using papers, ribbons, photos etc.

Create all kinds of projects from greeting cards and calendars to stationery and certificates. Some of the kinds of cards include Thank You notes, Pop-Up Cards, Note Cards, and Photo CD Greeting Cards. Helpful tools: Photo Editor, Card Browser, and Drag and Drop Text Effects. It's also Windows Vista certified. This is a very good program and works with Vista. Hope this helps you.

Inside of greeting card.

Yes and no. Unless you have a printer that prints on two sides you will have to "trick" it and use the template for both. Make a front and a back. You will have to print one one side then inset it to print on the other side. Since all printers feed difrently you will have to play with this on scrap first before using your good card stock. For example I made invitations to a wedding. The couple wanted a pcture on the fornt. On my template I had to rotate the picture upside down so when it was folded in half the picture wa right side up. It also had a raised rose on the invitations so I had to adjust the image so it would print in the empty are on the front. I then had to do the inside text and makes sure the paper was inserted correctly as not to print upside down. You can do it but it is tricky, that is why I recommend some scrap paper first. Good Luck.

I cannot fold greeting cards without getting a margin that is too big on the left side of inside page. This makes it impossible to fold the card and retain alignment.

Discovered that the settings for my new printer were set for LEGAL instead of A4.
Thanks for your interest.
I have noted your e-mail address in case I need assistance in future.
Cheers.

INSIDE MESSAGE ON GREETING CARD

Your card will fold to make an inside and outside once folded, but is seen in a page layout app differently.
Take a sheet of paper and fold it in half to represent the card you will be making.
Now open it up and lay it down on a table, with the inside of the card face down.
The outside back of the card should now be on your left, and the front of the card is on the right. Use a pencil or pen to mark it as such, if you need to.
Now when you do your card layout, the cover art and text should be on the right side of the page you create in the application.
If you flip the card over, so that the inside is now facing you, you are looking at the inside of the card.
Usually, the text and signature areas would be on the right side of this page, as well.
Now, use that same guidance when you work on 'page 2' of your document. Add the text to the right side of your page, so it will be on the right inside panel after you print and fold the card.
The final step is to print it out so that the inside and outside are in the correct orientation to each other.
Be sure to feed the paper such that the top of the card is facing the same side of the paper tray when you prnt both sides. (I sometimes make a light mark in pencil which can be erasd, to be sure it goes in the right direction, since this step is easily messed up.)
Good luck.
