Re: XBOX 360 FREEZING PROBLEMS
Sounds like you are suffering the dreaded overheating Xbox 360 syndrome.
Do a quick search on Google and you will come up with a lot of pages and info about this problem.
There are methods involving wrapping a towel around the unit etc.
Also keep an eye on your power brick. Make sure it dosn't overheat.
Personally because I live in Australia and it's always hot here, alot of 360 owners have taken them apart and added in fans to help the cooling.

I doubt it's the 360 since everything else is working just fine. The menu works fine, the game works fine. However if you downloaded one of these maps from the marketplace it may be corrupt, and you will have to delete and re-download the map pack.
my halo sometimes does the same thing when i start up the game but pressing a usually gets you through it, but if your xbox 360 overheats within minutes and is an older xbox 360 its usually a burnt out fan or just full of dust, if its old then ur warranty might already be out and if it is just open up the xbox and use an air compressor or anything else to get all the dust out of the xbox. in my case everything was just caked with dust. anyways... good luck
Well if these spot are consistent on certain disks time after time it is most likely a scratch, smudge or defect on the disk. check them all for scratches and if they are dirty try to clean them very gently with a soft cloth. This would only really concern your actual console if it occurs during heavy game loading or at the same spot during a load. Try cleaning all your disks and get back to me. GL
Sorry to say but you need join the que of people frustrated by the problems that Halo 3 suffers on the XBox 360.
Simply search the internet and you will find a plethora of people having the exact same issues.
Some have found that running the Halo 3 update helps, some find it makes things worse. This is a know issue that Microsoft are once again denying and there appears to be a few law suits being attempted.
My suggestion? Return the game tot he store as faulty and buy it for your PC instead. Sorry this is probably not what you want to hear.
