I ever forgot my windows password and try to search for help on google. I've tried a couple of free password recovery utilities. The free software can help you, but you have to learn some computer skills and waste a lot time on learning. If you want to save more time, maybe Google third party password recovery tool or Google Window Password Seeker can help you.

Just reset the password in the router and you will be good to go, don't forget you will need to change all the wirelless devices that you want to have access to the network. Otherwise the short answer is no, it is an encrypted pasword.

okay that's easy man
start windows run in command prompt
then type this net user admin admin /add
first admin is will be your new username and the other one will be your password
then make your username become administrator local by typing net localgroup administrators admin /add
restart system then login with your new username

The IBM Recovery Disk that comes with those laptops is set up for Windows 2000, not Windows XP Pro. The answer is No, you cannot use the IBM Recovery Disk for them, if you install Windows XP Pro.

However! You will have a recovery disk, because you will have the Full Installation disk for Each laptop. Windows XP Pro Full Installation Disk.

(Microsoft Users License states "One genuine copy of Windows per One computer" That means you need Two, genuine copies of Microsoft Windows XP Pro)

How to bypass password for ibm thinkpad 2647
Remove cmos battery from motherboard for about 5 seconds, replace and reboot. Passwords should be reset and allow you to use the system. Hope this helps.

Forgot startup password
For the Windows password you will need to reformat your hard drive. If that would not be done or if there is another way of removing the password without removing and reinstalling the operating system or of using your laptop by working around, windows password does not make sense at all.
