To make your day a little bit easier, you can buy the one gallon mix bottles of oil from Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart. Just goto the lawn and garden department and there you will find these bottles of oil. One bottle to one gallon of gas.
mine was a total pain. I yanked on the rope so many times, it flew out of the keeper, and when I replaced it I ran it UNDER the fuel tank cutting a slot in tank. I also blew out the primer bulb. AFTER the replacement tank I arrived, I discovered rolling the machine forward helped the flow to carb and did not require priming. Now I need to fix throttle cable. But all in all, a tough little machine.
hello. the mix has not changed over the years. it is important however to use ryobi oil. go to any home depot and get the small bottle of ryobi oil that is enough for just one gallon of gas, use new gas fresh from the pump, and enjoy.
try 40 to 1 ratio it should say on the blower if not check the ratio on the bottle of 2cycle oil it will tell you how much oil to add to a gallon of gas
Ryobi trimmers I have had use a 32:1 oil mix. Just pick up a little bottle of Ryobi 2-cycle oil and read it to see that it will give a 32:1 mix in a gallon of gas. Pour it into a gallon of gas, and maybe a little fuel stabilizer too, shake it up and you should be good for the season.
