Hi,

Are you sure that you have internet access activated by your mobile operator? It needs to be activated on their end for you to be able to access the internet.

I cant use internet in my mobile though I already active my gprs, what should I do?

Dear,
first of all you have not detailed your mobiles model number!
well, if you are sure that your mobile supports gprs or edge, then kindly do the following:-
1>install and activate gprs setting in you mobile(you can get it from your sim cards customer care)
2>clear you catche and cookie from your internet settings.
3>then go to the homepage
4>if still its not working then, it meant that you do not have sufficient balance in your account for using gprs,
5>recharge your account then use gprs, then it will work
6>but if still it didnt worked, then contact me again with your mobile model number and your problem with full detail, or contact your sim cards customer care, they can solve your problem well, since they will be with you live.

Regards!!

I cannot access the internet via my samsung b3310 mobile

Hello
Internet access on your mobile or mobile broadband is possible by connecting via GPRS (General Packet Radio Service). GPRS 2.5G is a packet-switching service. It allows you to access the Internet by sending packets of data over the Internet. You can send and receive email with GPRS. It supports WAP, SMS text messaging and other data communications. When you click on the Web icon on your mobile phone, you get connected to the Internet. For the internet setting/configuration on your mobile you may contact your mobile service provider by calling on help line or visiting their nearest office.
Hope it helps if so do rate the solution

I already have a gprs, mms and internet settings in my samsung gt-b3410 and i have it installed. the problem is i still cant access the net.

Hi,
Please understand that the settings which you told is must for connecting to internet and its services like MMS, etc. But at the same time you must have proper GPRS/internet subscription active from your network operator. If so, then these settings can be used to access those activated services. So you have to contact your service provider customer care and activate the GPRS subscription for your mobile number. Then everything should work fine.
I hope these information were useful to you
Thanks

CANT CONNECT TO INTERNET ON LAPTOP VIA SAMSUNS STAR S5233A

Hi,

For connecting to laptop and using internet needs ACTIVE GPRS/3G connection. If you doesn't have this please call the net work provider to make it active.

After that you need to create an data account in the data communication settings. Otherwise you can ask the provider to send it to you according to your mobile model.
Install that and restart your mobile.
Connect it to your Laptop and create a network connection.
You have to dial a number there to connect to the provider. Dial the number and connect.
Now you can browse the internet using mobile.

Thanks

Application and url gprs

hi there! thanks for using Fixya.com!

Just a little bit of information:

General packet radio service (GPRS) is a packet oriented mobile data service available to users of the 2G cellular communication systems global system for mobile communications (GSM), as well as in the 3G systems. In the 2G systems, GPRS provides data rates of 56-114 kbit/s.
GPRS data transfer is typically charged per megabyte of traffic transferred, while data communication via traditional circuit switching is billed per minute of connection time, independent of whether the user actually is using the capacity or is in an idle state. GPRS is a best-effort packet switched service, as opposed to circuit switching, where a certain quality of service (QoS) is guaranteed during the connection for non-mobile users.

The Nokia 3650 comes with all the software you need to connect to the Internet. Although the phone doesn't have a built-in web browser, it can access Internet content via the Wap browser (from the 'Services' menu). You can also set up the phone to access email via the messaging application. This page provides details of how to get access to email on the move with your 3650. For help with Wap, see the menu on the left

Problems connecting?
  • Ensure that your Network operator (e.g. Orange, o2, Vodafone) has 'data-enabled' your SIM card. If not, call their Customer Service people.

  • Problems with GPRS. If connecting with GPRS, you need to make sure your network operator has enabled GPRS on your account. For more on this, and other GPRS troubleshooting help, see our GPRS page
Problems sending emails
  • If you get an error such as "Problem sending message", you may be trying to send a message to one ISP's mailbox while connected to a different ISP. To prevent spamming, most ISPs require you to connect to their service (not someone else's) in order to send an email via their SMTP server. For instance, don't be surprised if you find that can't send mail from your BT Yahoo account (using the server address mail.btinternet.com) if you've logged on to Virgin Media.
Problems retrieving emails
  • If attempting to retrieve email gives you a "General: System error", make sure you have "Gateway IP address" set to 0.0.0.0. (Tools | Settings | Connection | Access points)
This message also appears if you are trying to connect to an email account over a WAP connection (e.g. trying to connect to BT Yahoo's mailbox while dialed up over o2's WAP service).
Problems logging in
  • If, when attempting to log in, you're constantly prompted for your password, even though you know you're typing in the right password, there are two possible causes. If you're already logged in (via a web browser or a PC program like Outlook, then you're often not allowed to log on via a second device. Make sure you're not already connected to your email provider on another machine. The other thing to check is that you're account hasn't been temporarily locked as you may have made repeated attempts to log on incorrectly. Many ISPs allow you to check your mail via a web service... it may be worth trying this to make sure your account is working properly and there are no problems at your ISP.
Problems with GPRS
  • Most mobile phone operators use different APNs (Access Point Nodes) for WAP-over-GPRS and email-over-GPRS. The upshot of this is that you can't connect to your email server over a GPRS WAP connection. Additionally, you may need to have your network operator enable access to the Internet/email GPRS service.

Problems with o2 - If you experience a "GPRS: Invalid GPRS access point" error when attempting to connect to, say, Virgin Media, over o2 via their mobile.o2.co.uk APN, this is likely to be for one of two reasons - either you have not entered the correct o2 Mobile Web APN settings, or o2 has not enabled "Mobile Web" on your account (in which case, contact o2).
Hope this will help you a lot! Cheers! don't forget to mark!! thanks!

Make sure you are subscribed to that feature. I would call your provider and make sure of this. Chances are, if you are subscribed to it, they may have made a mistake and turned this feature off for you.
