checked gas pressure,ok. blew out gas line from the gas manifold,ok.there is no overload or limit switch in line with the gas valve, only the thermostat (also new) and the hot surface igniter. both igniters look like they are ok.the igniters are the only parts that have not been replaced.

Ok you say you have your 2.6 durring the time your burner restarts.
how long is the flame out before it comes back on? if it is too quick then your multi meter may not catch the quick off and on.
if you have good flame then i would say its not a clog but if there is a sensor next to the flame then it maybe dirty and not telling the valve that its got flame, so in return the valve is turning it off, and restarting it again. some say to wipe sensor with a dollar bill if you use anything else it may damage it. if you don't have a sensor and you start seein a slight change in the 2.6 then your lookin at something differant.

ok with everything being replaced. i would check your input gas and double check your voltage, but if you tap on the valve and it come on then it may have something clogging the input to the valve. I would start by checking how far back the problems start on the gas line. maybe check your shut offs around the back and around the house. if you have a lower tap or the lowest line in the house avl to you so you can shut off the gas and empty out water from the lines and check them.. please be carefull.

Chances are there are Little specks of something either obstructing the orifices or there are little cracks or holes, what i can suggest is for you to connect the tubes on an air compressor, if by any you have one. then try to submerge the burnes to a pail of water if you can disassemble it for you to trace whether there is a leak/cracks. if none then something is obsructing gas to go through, try to get rid of the obstruction by increasing air pressure, using air compressor ok? hope this help.

Looks like something is blocking the burners from the insides.. My mom has fixed a similar problem of my neighbor yesterday...the solution is to disassemble the burners and clean it thoroughly and put them back on..

Good Luck!
Eagle.

Replaced igniter. Is it suppose to stay on the whole time the gas oven is on?

I assume you are talking about a glow bar type igniter. Yes they stay on as long as the burner is on but will cycle off when the oven reached the set temperature then come on to light the burner again when the oven cools back down to maintain the temperature.

When the oven is ON, the igniter should stay on.

If the oven is OFF and igniter stays on check the sensor assembly and or flame sensor for continuity.

The usual problem with these ovens is the oven burner itself. the burner will click 3 times and usually lights but after a few minutes shuts down and will no light again until you reset the control. If this is happening then try replacing the oven burner. It comes as one unit the burner assembly and electrode. Part # 8191123. If this doesn't work then it coould be your spark module unit. This is about twice the cost or more.

If it were the regulator you would have the same problem with the top burners. Is the oven burner coming on a little or to normal size? How long does the burner stay on each time?

Oven Burners not lighting completely

It's the igniters. They increase in resistance as the elements age and decreases the current required to heat the spring element in the gas valve.

Replace both igniters.

How do I change an orphase from a natural gas to propane?

If you have converted the burners and the regulator, all you have left to do is the oven and broil burners. (for self clean oven model you posted under)
Let's do the broil burner first. Open oven door and look up at the broil burner. At the back of the oven you see the tube that the gas flows through to get to the burner. At the base of this tube is an air shutter opening, and right there you will find a brass nut with a hole in the center of it (the burner's orifice). Use a 1/2 inch wrench to turn the nut three full revolutions clockwise looking at it from the burner side. It is easier to turn it twelve 1/4 revolutions.
Now, do the same to the main burner by removing the storage drawer, remove the one screw holding the metal plate so you can get at the base of the burner, and do the same to that orifice. Do not over tighten the orifices.

Ge spectra gas stove top not lighting

If your top burners are not lighting or will not work, it is possible that the burners have become dirty or wet. Please follow the troubleshooting directions below before calling service:
  1. Turn you burner to the Lite position:

If you hear clicking or sparking, go to Step 2.

If you do not, check your circuit breakers. If the circuit breaker is ok, we recommend that you schedule service by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule service online.

  2. Clean the burner and electrode:

First remove the burner grate, cap, and head. Use a needle or paper clip to poke through the holes on the burner head. Re-assemble and try the burner.

Remove the burner grate, cap, and head. Even if it looks clean, wipe the tip of the electrode with a clean, dry paper towel and PRESS IT DOWN. Re-assemble and try the burner, again.

Check to see if the burner works, If not, then go to Step 3.

  3. Re-assemble - Make sure that each burner top matches its burner bottom. The burner top will lay flat if put on correctly.

Check to see if the burner works, If not, then go to Step 4.

  4. The spark igniter is operating properly, but the burner is still not lighting. At this point, we would recommend that you schedule service by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule service online.
