Casio digital diary - not able to open file

Dear Sir,

I have sincronised the organiser to my desk top and I search fro my contact numbers regularly since I have around 1500 contacts.

Recently I faced a problem and the file is not opening.

The error message" SFIWIN caused a Gereral Protection Fault in module SFWIN.EXE at 0006:2BC5"
Choose close. SFWIN will close.

By clicking on the ikon I am getting the above message immediately.
I have run FA 127 software with the hope some exe files may be lost and to reload the same but still getting the same error message.

Pls help in resolving the problem. I have important data to retrive.

Kind Regards

SOURCE: Ma error appears in stat menu with casio cfx-9850gb plus

Hello,
Here are the possible causes for such an error
1. calculation results exceeds calculation range.
2. Calculation is outside the input range of a function
3. Illogical operation (division by zero, etc.
4. Poor precision in sigma calculation results,

For all these reasons
Check the input numeric values and correct them . If you are using memory, check that the numeric values stored in memory are correct.

Hope it helps

SOURCE: my casio fx-300ES does not have the exe or y2

Hi,

I think that you have been using an HP rpn calculator before? This calculator has the equals key instead of exe key. The input is as follows: 2 "x" 2 "=" 4, unlike the reverse polish notation.

Please reply with the problem statement and I shall provide steps to carry it out. In the mean time, please consult the online manual. It requires adobe or foxit reader installed.

Battery replacement J-10A

Good Morning Fhaas153

Looking at a J-10 picture on eBay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-CASIO-J-10-ELECTRONIC-CALCULATOR-8-DIGIT-TESTED-/331587643662 , the picture of the rear says '1.5V battery x 2. Looking at this other shot
http://www.casio-calculator.com/Museum/Calculator/FGHIJ/J-10/Casio-J-10-back.jpg It looks like there is a fairly clear Slide-to-Open Battery door at the top of the rear panel. Given the battery rating at 1.5 Volts and the door size, I'd suspect it'll take either AA or AAA batteries. You should be able to slide the door and look, and most battery compartments will have an indication of the specific cell.

To be sure I'm covering both the what and the how, slide the door open. Remove old batteries if still there. Clean up contacts with a bit of fine steel wool if they are corroded or covered with old battery fuzz. Put new batteries in - negative end towards the coil springs generally. Replace sliding hatch.

Hoping this covers what you're looking for!

Scientific notation on the casio fx-9750GII

We need verbs (actions) in your questions and interrogative pronouns too. Anyway, to have a numerical result displayed in scientific format, you must set the display to scientific. You must specify the number of decimal digits to keep.
To set the display format, open the Run>Mat screen. Press [SHIFT][Menu] to open (Setup). Scroll Up to reach the line Display, press [F2] (Sci), type in the number of decimal digits, press EXE. See the screen captures below.

You do a U-Turn, meaning the opposite. Press [SHIFT][MODE] to open the (setUp). In the setup screen choose FIX or NORMal. You might be prompted to enter the number of decimal digits. In that case enter a number between 0 and 9.

I was given a Sharp 128 kb organiser back in 1996 - it has served me well. Just today I must have pressed the wrong key and deleted every record on the system in one go. Questions 1. Can I re-instate the...

1. If you don't see the information you cannot get it back.
2. You will have to adjust the date, hour and probably also the location you are in, as they were reseted to factory settings.
I cannot tell you exactly how to do it becase you don't tellwhat Casio organiser model you have.
In any case , you will have to get into Calendar/Clock mode.
Probably the machine will have a function key with a Clock on it. Press it and see if you can update the date and time info.
I leave you a link to a page drom where you can download manuals from same Sharp organiser. Perhaps yours is one of those:
