you need to use a piece of software from motorola, follow the link below and download "MC70cleaners"
http://support.symbol.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=11744&sliceId=&dialogID=175684178&stateId=1%200%20175682106 unzip it onto the root of an SD card, put SD card in EDA,press power +1+9 together after 20 seconds release them, press top right button, updater will start, u need the mains plugged in, after it has finished it will boot into windows mobile.
MC7090 - the 9 defines the Wireless function.
MC7004 - the 4 defines the phone function.
Hence a MC7094 would have wireless and phone functionality. If you have a
"9" version then you can use the free wifi. There would be a PCMCIA
card symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the device. Click that and
"find WLANS". Then connect to the one you want.
you can try a hard reset(hold the 2 corner buttons down then using stylus insert in the small hole on the back for soft reset) this will restore factory settings. if you have sync folder on your computer you should be able to retreive contacts, pics, etc. hope this helps.
If you can’t remember the password, you can delete it from your handheld. Deleting a forgotten password also deletes all entries marked as private.
Here is the procedure to delete the password. Be sure to synchronize your handheld with your computer before and after thisprocedure, so you can restore any private entries that were deleted along with the password.
1 Open Security:
a. Go to the Home screen, and then select Prefs .
b. Select Security.
2 Open the Incorrect Password dialog box:
a. Select the Password box.
b. Enter any password, and then select OK.
4 Delete the forgotten password: a. Select OK on the screen informing you that your password is incorrect.
a. Select Lost Password.
b. Select Yes.
4 Synchronize your handheld with your computer to restore any private entries that were deleted.
You will need to have a backup saved if you want to recover private entries.
Not using the touch screen.
But you can reboot from the POWER Button
By holding it in for 5 Secounds, ( this is a warm reboot)
By holding the power button plus the 1and the 9 buttonat the same time is a cold boot. This is a better way...
Hope this helps you!!!
