Hi,
I got a cheap Logitech SoundMan SR-30 (5-Piece computer speakers) from Value Village.... The problem is that when connecting it to the laptop only rear speakers work ... I figured what the problem was ... the thing is that at the back of the main speaker, all the other speakers gets connected .. and from there goes out two cables that should get connected to the device (Audio out) one for rear, and the other for front.
Since Laptops have only one Audio Out, how could i make the second work...
So basically, there is one cable going out of the laptop to the main speaker (Audio In, rear) ... since there is no other place where i could put the cable for the front speakers .. is there any device or software that could beused ??

The "control panel" has things like "sound effect manager" or "sound max" in case of intel chipsets. Thru this you can configure the audio in and rear from laptop to act as front and rear outs.
The two can function cariably not always as rear and audio in!
Thats what my frnd did once to get quadrophonics to work.
Hope that might work for you too.. All loes in how you confiogure the sound effect manager or similar thing in the control panel..
