Problem in network

For the last couple of weeks  I have been receiving a message that stated " GENERIC HOST PROCESS FOR WIN32 SERVICES HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE".
Since this message appears on my computer screen the network connection disconnected itself automatically and I require to RESTART my computer to get the network connected.
I tried  this problem with an executive of our network provider and after checking he said the problem is with the computer. So in turn I tried this problem with a hardware professional he said all the things happen b'coz of some SPYWARE and he tried something but the problem not solved yet.
SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW  WHETHER THE SYSTEM NEEDS REFORMAT.

Hey guys i have a very serious problem, when ever i start my pc after a few seconds an error is showed,

    "DATA EXECUTION PREVENTION"

"GENERIC HOST PROCESS FOR WIN32 SERVICES HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE"

Then my sharing stops, audio mixer crashes and themes changes to classic view. The next thing i do is restart all these services again from services.msc, but after sometime they fail again.

I live in a university hostel and this problem is with all other people in my hostel. I tried "WindowsXP-KB921883-x86-ENU.exe" but this problem still remains.

Plz give me a permanent solution for this.

Read the Thread here.

Note:-
Generic Host Process for Win32 Services or svchost.exe is a legal and essential component of Windows which is used to host services which run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs).

Please note that legal svchost.exe should reside in Windows\System32 folder and should not appear in startup list.

If it does appear, do a Malware/spyware/virus scan on your PC.

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem

this is most likeley due to a trojan virus impersonating as win32 host process. review all services running and pay close attention to any service that looks weird. Run DRWEB free trojan cleaner you can download it by googling it.

Try uninstalling all of the drivers that aren't directly associated to your primary hardware. Possible troublemakers would be the network card and printers.
Please rate, Thanks!

I guess it is a network virus! Repair your os, or reinstall it if needed , and do not share anymore or buy a Total Security antivirus!
