When I boot my the computer it remains as a dark screen and will not change. What can I do to make it work?

try to boot the computer in safe mode with networking.

Install new regulator in your computer to perform your computer faster.

If you are getting the logo in the beginning that means screen is fine. Reset defaults for BIOS and try booting your computer with the help of disk.

Connect it to another monitor,and see if it comes on. Your screen may be damaged.

check it on bios whether the hard drive is detecting or not, if detecting then recover OS using recovery Cd

Try booting the MAC OS disk. If it boots correctly, it probably is the hard drive. Also, If it boots ok, try the repair utility on the cd.

Is it really complicated to replae the screen i have the screen but duno if i shood do it myself i have th video on the internet to change it looks really easy buh ppl atstores say its complicated and u have to leave the fone there for a week to replace it and cahrg like 50 bux

It is unlikely to be the cmos battery as there are signs [music] that your laptop is booting - shine a light into the screen if you can see an image but it is very dark then it is likely that the screen backlight is not working. If this is the case the most likely causes are a faulty inverter or a faulty screen cable - both can be obtained as a kit quite cheaply on ebay if you have the ability to fit them.
