If this is specific to this game only, then you may want to go through the game manual for instructions. If this is happening in other games as well, then it could be that your keyboard is defective and will need to get it replaced..

Hi ommisoni,

You are having a keyboard functionality issue of instead getting the correct character/letter you want you are getting different. This is caused by the pre installed application in your machine. These applications are used for encryption. And to get rid of this problem you need to uninsall the applications. Here are the following steps to uninstall:

Applications: Guarded ID, ID Vault and Oovoo. You might have one, two or all of these applications.

1. Go to Control Pannel.

2. Look for Programs and Features.

3. Once you're already there, look for all those 3 applications and unistall each one at a time.

4. System will prompt you to restart your computer so make sure to restart. For changes to take effect.

Following this recommendation will help you resolve the issue. You should be able to use keyboard properly.

Thank your using Fixya.

My keyboard or key pad will not work

Sounds like you have sticky keys enabled

Press and hold down the keys for about 5-10 seconds until you see a character or some response on your screen.

When you get into Windows follow these steps:

Step 1. Click Start - Control Panel

Step 2. make sure you are in Classic View, Go to Accessibility Options

Step 3. Click on the Keyboard tab and uncheck Enable Sticky Keys

Step 4. Click Ok, then Ok and exit

How do I reset the channel for the mouse and keyboard?

Dear Sir,

plzz follow this step to solve your probel

icon on the desktop. Click the "Change a Setting" choice in the left column. In the window that appears, double-click the "Keyboard" icon. This dialog box handles all settings for your current keyboard. Another path to the control panel is to click the "Start" button at the bottom left of the screen. Roll the mouse pointer up to "Settings" and click "Control Panel."
  • Step 2 Reset the character repeat settings. The speed of character repeat and the delay before repeating starts is adjustable with sliding level indicators. Click on the adjuster and hold your finger on the mouse button to drag the adjustment left or right.
  • Step 3 Change the cursor blink rate. A faster blink helps to locate the cursor while moving it with the arrow keys. Change the blink rate by dragging the slide to the left or right for slower or faster.
  • Step 4 Enable the keyboard to accommodate one-handed typing or foreign languages. Click on the "Input Locales" tab near the top of the dialog box. Click the "Add" button for choices of available languages. Click the "Properties" button for choices to include Dr. Dvorak’s keyboard layouts for two-handed typing or single-handed typing with either hand.
  • Step 5 Identify and correct keyboard malfunctions. Click the "Hardware" tab on the dialog box. The current keyboard will be listed under devices. The functioning status of the keyboard is displayed, and a troubleshoot button is active for use anytime. Make a first attempt to resolve keyboard problems by clicking this button.

get a usb keyboard and plug to laptop, borrow one if you can, if it stops doing it, than its a bad kb on laptop, if it still does it than its a windows or software issue. if thats the case go to control panel and check your kb settings.
