I am wondering how I can clean the inside of my bissell spotlifter powerbrush hand held cleaner? I want to clean the part where you suction up - it is full of gunk and hair and I can't figure out if it comes apart or not so I can clean it. Can you help?

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
Normally on the Bissell Spotlifter Powerbrush the item will comes apart from the sides into 2 halves and then you can either clean out or blow out the inside of the
Bissell Spotlifter Powerbrush, also you can take a wire coat hanger and straighten it out and bend a hook @ the end of the wire hanger and you can use the hook to pull out the clog or whatever is blocking the opening and you can also use a blower or an old tooth brush to clean the motor or to brush it off.
