Streaming video takes a lot of bandwidth, make sure you are connected at the maximum speed for your wifi network which usually is around 54Mbps. Also, if the video you are streaming is popular, increased server load could be why the stream is breaking up.

Hello

With either the PC IN or HDMI connection, you can watch

your computer's display on the TV and hear the sound from the
TV's speakers.

When connecting a PC to the PC IN terminal on the TV, use an
analog RGB (15-pin) computer cable and a PC audio cable.

To use a PC, set the monitor output resolution on the PC

before connecting it to the TV. The following signals can be
displayed:

Format Resolution V. Frequency

VGA 640 × 480 60Hz

SVGA 800 × 600 60Hz
XGA 1024 × 768 60Hz

Other formats or non-standard signals will not be displayed

correctly.

Note:

The PC audio input terminals on the TV are shared with the
HDMI-1 analog audio input terminals
Some PC models cannot be connected to this TV.
OK.

I have connected my pc to my vizio tv and watched it for two days now it says no rgb signal. the power will be turned off. How do I fix this so I can watch my pc on my tv

First check that your VGA cable is fully seated at both the TV and the PC. Make sure the computer is on and not hibernating or other power saving mode. (Try jiggling your mouse, running a finger on the touchpad (laptop) or typing a character on the keyboard.)

Try connecting the computer to another monitor. (Try a different cable.) Alternatively, connect the TV to a different PC. (This checks if the TV input or the graphics port in the computer is the problem.)

The other issue is which order were the TV and the computer turned back on. (Many TVs need to be on before the computer boots up.)

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(I run my TV on the computer intermittently (for a dual monitor situation). The last time I did this, my computer did not detect the TV on reboot. In that case, I needed to reinstall my video graphics driver. However, that was simpler to diagnose since the other monitor was attached and working fine.)

Can this tv model do a wireless connection to my laptop? I have a wireless router - WGR614 Netgear, and an HP Pavilion entertainment PC. Thank you, Diane

Your computer is built to acquire wireless signals made possible with routers as link stations. Also, the computer is capable of transmitimng signals with the same process to any device with conditions explained. First, TVs would acquire wireless signals with builtin wireless routers to recognise external media requirng intergration. Performing sigal transmittion compartibility checks should produce results of whether your computer is capable of communicating with the computer at a wireless level. Refering to the TV user guide ascertain the wireless capabilities with respect to computer to TV media communications. Every possible signal connectivity is acquirable with performing technical diagnostic checks to ascertain the missing links. For example, modern devices are capable of transmittions across mediums achievable at the users own experimentation.
Good luck

Hi,

You can only use your TV for viewing internet from your computer by using the TV as a PC monitor. To do this you should connect your computer to your TV using a standard VGA cable - the same as you would use to connect your computer to any other external monitor. You should note that this cable doesn't carry a sound signal so you can't use the TV speakers for sound output.

However, you can connect an HDMI cable from your computer to your TV to play media files or DVDs. This cable does carry a sound signal so you will be able to use your TV speakers here. This cable cannot be used for turning your TV into a PC monitor.

And all of above shouldn't be confused with "Internet TV". This is something totally different and requires your TV to be connected directly to the internet.

Hope this helps.

Ilo 42'' says no signal on VGA when connected to a computer

Snap off/fully remove pins 11, 12, and 15 from a spare VGA cable and use this to connect the ILO tv. These pins are used for identification of the monitor by the PC. The video signal is now displayed perfectly on my ILO tv, in all supported resolutions.

Laptop to samsung tele

  1. Ensure that the connection is a direct cable connection from the PC to the TV, no converters or cable adapters as these are generally not Bi-directional which is required for a PC to see a TV.
  2. Try turning on the TV, then booting the computer. Some devices require the initialization signal from the computer to activate the port on the TV.
  3. See if the TV input select has an option to search for active signals.
IF none of that helps, post the exact model of TV and computer as well as the type of cable connection you are using.

The biggest stopper most of the time is a cable converter.
