Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
I put the two new sticks in and it resgisters 2302mb not closer to 4000mb. What is the problem
Many computers claim to be upgradeable to 4 GB of memory. While this may be true, it is also true that in order to reach 4 GB of memory the operating system needs to be 64-bit. I would be sure that the memory is seated properly first. Then I would exchange the memory. But my initial assumption is that it is too much memory for your operating system.
