Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F7 on your Jenn Air means that the keypad is shorted or stuck and to resolve this issue you’ll have to replace the touch pad/clock assembly (ERC). Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Temp light goes out at 350 when trying to set to 400

I get this complaint many times from owners of stoves that "watch" them , I always carry a clip on thermometer and if you invest in one you may see something different than the stoves indicator shows ,
once I a great while I do see stoves that get heavy uses the sensor does get covered up by cooking grease's and doenst show an accurate display

but I suggest in investing in a clip on INside stove thermometer they go miles towards better cooking

Jenn-Air Range displaying Error F1-8

Did not find an error code "F1-8"
I did find these. Seems that about everything that can go wrong with a Jenn Air is related to the clock.

The display and buttons are dead, no display or oven lights but electric starter still works on stove top

find the breaker for the stove and turn it off for 2 minutes then back on, if that does not work look on back of stove in area of controles for a small reset button, some time they are hidden just inside a small hole

Tried to clean top of jenn air stove

If this is a gas stove, you've shorted out the ignitor circuit.  If it is electric...you may have gotten some of your cleaner into one of the controls.  See what doesn't work and trace from there.

Clock/oven/temp screen for a Jenn-Air electronic range #SVE87600

I believe Jenn Air will pay a portion or electronic parts replacement on their ranges less than 5 years old.
You might try unplugging the stove for 1 hour and this is supposed to reset the stove to factory settings

Electronic touch pad problems

From what your telling me, you have tried all the numbers and only 1,4 and 7 beep when touched. Also, the timer display was set at 0:00 when you started. Also, you followed the manual's instructions first, and looked in the back of your manual in the trouble section, and found no answer.
Did you timer ever work? If not, you should be able to a free replacement of the control panel module from an authorized Jenn-Air repair company. It may be a good idea to contact Jenn-Air first.
The timer shows only hours and minutes when first started. For example 2:05 is two hours and five minutes. It goes into the seconds mode only during the last minute.
