Check another movie to see whether the surround system works. If it works, redownload your movie from other sources. If you don't know where to download, here I found a post including some sites for help: https://www.leawo.org/entips/pinoy-movies-download-1409.html?fx=1409

But if the system still doesn't work, go to your home theater customer service for more help.

Everything can be fixed, most specially you're in the Philippines, there's a lot of good technician out there.

Rear surround sound speakers not working during movie.

Look on your manual, page E16. Go into your speaker setup. Select your speakers (Front,C,Surround, Sub) and make sure each are selected as "small" (make sure you go through each one). If the surrounds are selected as "none" the rear will not activate and will light up as red on the display. Let me know if this helps.

No sound coming from subwoofer

Hi,
Sure we will help you, but you need to check these,
1.Wiring connection from dvd player to home theater system,
2.Wiring connection of a home theater amplifier to speakers,
3.While playing the Original dvd the 5.1 audio you have to manually enable.
and if you still find any difficult please feel free to contact.

Can't get the surround sound to play the rear speakers and small front speaker

Sounds like it's just in 2 channel stereo mode, only 2 speakers working out of 5 and a sub, look for a selector switch for switching to 5.1 surround, as far as the no video problem try replacing the cable for the video connection.

Surround Sound Not Playing For TV Programs

Greetings jdm12,

I can understand your problem, I have some what of the same issues with my home theater setup when watching events. One of the only suggestions I can make is adjusting the "Dolby Pro Logic II Mode". After reviewing your owners manual it appears you should be able to change the mode by pressing the PL II Mode button found in the lower keypad on your remote. It appears the options you should have are Music - Cinema - Pro Logic - Matrix - Stereo. You may want to try Music or Stereo when watching your events. In Stereo setting it should provide sound out of the front speakers and sub-woofer only. In Music, there are more processing that is done so you could hear more then just the front speakers.

I hope this makes your next your next PPV Party a big hit!

KOSS HOME THEATRE

Salutations robn7499,

There are a few things that may cause this to happen. First I would check your connections for your center channel speaker. in movies with 5.1 surround sound almost all the vocal tracks come out of the center channel.

Otherwise there maybe an issue with the volume levels for the center channel as well, these can normally be adjusted through the setup of your home theater system.

I hope this helps.

How to get sound through speakers with tv and not just dvds

Just wire your TV audio out to one of the receivers (DVD player) audio in and select AUX when you want the TV sound to play through the surround sound. You also might want to turn the volume down or off on your TV to get the full surround sound feeling, but that's your call.
