Sapphire HD 3850 Video Card, Radeon HD 3850, 512MB, DDR3, 4/8xAGP, TV out, DVI, HDTV to go with a K8V-MX motherboard with 1GB RAM and a DEL 24" ultrasharp widescreen.
Is this going to work?

Yes, it should work ok.. Your motherboard supports 1 x AGP8X, and since this card is 8x AGP, and includes a power adapter cable, it should be fine. Just make sure you have an adequate power supply (400watt+)...

there will be a sticker on the power supply itself (could be inside the pc, you may even have to take the power supply out). Also, you can look up the model number of your PC, and check the website of the manufacturer, it may list what type of PSU is in your computer.
