Question about Singer CE-100 Futura Computerized Sewing Machine

I have a Singer Futura 100. The red lights keep flashing and I can only sew straight stitches. In the embroidery mode it has a pop up when I try to put in a new design that says (machine is still operating, Please stop machine or wait until completion to continue. Nothing happens.

    The machies stops embroidery and put on the safety mode ,check everything and nothing seems on the way ,but when I try to turn the hand wheel it's very hard ,,,

I took it to the service man and it had to be sent back to the factory.
They replaced the power board connection harness.

Stop machine and discinnect power cable, this should reset machine

    I think your machine control was stuck with last programme executed. If resetting by unplug did not work you may need to use a service reset procedure. I will try to find a service manual for this model, if I find one I shold be able to post the reset procedure in the next 24 hours. Let me know if the simple hard reset procedure (unplugging from power for 15 mins) solved the problem.

    According to Singer guidelines , if there is only red blinking light, then there is an fault inside the machine, unless it reset disconnecting from power.
    If there is an error code with format EM-01 - EM-09 tell me which error you get and I should find a fix.
    Here is a complete user guide, check pages 90-92 for common errors.
    If you have no error message, and light does not go out with power disconnect then it may be a faulty control board.
    In this case I suggest doing a last attempt removing all threads, and reset design unplug from power 10/15 mins.
    Let me know if you still have the problem.

My Singer Futura sewing/embroidery CE-200 machine is malfunctioning. It will sew a few stitches and then make this horrible sound and doesn't move. Once stopped, the needle feels like it is boun


try changing the needle--make sure the needle is correct for the fabric
clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for lint or loose threads
if it keeps jamming up & making noises I suggest to have the machine
serviced

Singer futura ce-100 wont start


Do you still have the embroidery arm attached? If you do, the sewing function of the machine won't work.

Design is ready, when green light is pressed nothing happens


I have had good luck contacting the Singer peoplee themselves. Sometimes it takes a couple of days for them to respond. But, if that doesn't help try this.

Can you go forward a few stitches annd then start?
If not, try condensing your design by 1-2%. This was recommended to me by Singer when I had part of a design that wouldn't stitch out. It did the same as your whole design. I tend to think it is the digitizer, not the machine in my instance. Have you tried another design by a different digitizer?

Hi I have a cee100 singer embroidery/sewing mach. in utility mode on straight stitching i have the problem of uncontinuous stitching. Sometimes when the foot lever is pressed it will sew a few inches but...


i spoke with support and they tell me that this is a threading issue. pull the thread back and forth, like flossing, under the plastic plate on top so the thread clicks into place. then procede with threading.

Dear Nancy,
If you do not get any error message, and the proble does not depends on your procedure ( eg, you left straight stiches plate mounted, or check that is not set width to zero for the straight stitch etc. ) Then a serviceman need to reset the machine from a jumper on mainboard, or reinstalling firmware image.
If you are not in a hurry, you can also try posting the question on this website.
If is not a simple solution problem, and the machine is new , the best thing to do is calling service, as suggested by the Singer manual.

Beeping


I have had the same problem with my machine as well. have you tryed, keeping it hooked to your computer while sewing, even if you are not using your embroidery unit it still needs to be hooked up, that seems to have helped some with the beeping.
