Since detecting the type of equipment you have, and its numerous technical specifications, can be quite difficult, it may be easiest to use a site that will scan your system and determine the updates needed. Three available sites: driveragent.com, drivers.com, and drivershq.com. You may find this more helpful.

I need driver for 8500gt 1021mb 128bits ddr2

You have not clearly stated who the manufacturer of your motherboard is. So it is not possible for us to find you the exact motherboard drivers. Now you have to go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and search for your motherboard model, which will link you to the most relevant drivers.

Hope this helps, Mrityunjay

I was forced to re-install windows XP which now leaves me without a driver for the onboard lan. i am unsure as to the driver i am looking for to uodate this so i can get back online.

If you log on to your computer manufacturer website, you can go to download section and download the required drivers for your computer including onboard LAN. If the computer is assembled then go to the motherboard manufacturer website, enter your motherboard model number and there you can also find all the drivers. If you don't know the motherboard model number, its printed on the component side of motherboard.

I just re-installed XP and the LAN driver is missing. Where do I get a free one?

If your LAN is embedded to the motherboard:Find the model and maker of your motherboard and visit their website. When at their website look for a section called "support" or something of the like. Inout your model number and a download page for drivers n such should come up. Download the needed drivers adn you should be done.

If the LAN is an expansion card, not embedded to motherboard: Same as above but instead you need the info on the card, not the motherboard.

If you have Discs that came with your computer, they should also have the needed drivers.

No sound device

? mark means no sound driver install or errors in Device Manager. u can check ur mother board cd room or can search ur audio driver in web or below may be ur answer

Question: Where do I locate motherboard sound drivers?
Answer: Users who have motherboards with on-board audio (often with VIA, Realtek, or C-Media chipsets) may have issues with their audio or AC'97 errors in Device Manager. Often this is caused because the operating system has been reinstalled and the motherboard chipset drivers are not installed. To resolve this issue try following the below steps.
Let Windows redetect drivers
If you have not recently reinstalled Microsoft Windows it's possible that your audio drivers are simply corrupt. Open Device Manager and remove all devices under "Sound, video and game controllers" and any "Other devices". Once removed reboot the computer and let Microsoft Windows re-detect the audio drivers.
Motherboard chipset drivers
Reinstalling the motherboard chipset drivers will usually resolve this issue. If your computer came with a Motherboard CD, install the chipset drivers from the CD and the sound drivers if also available on the CD.
If you do not have a motherboard CD, obtain the motherboard chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer.
Sound card drivers
If after installing the motherboard chipset drivers you continue to have issues install the sound drivers. We suggest you download the sound drivers from the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer.
A listing of motherboard manufacturers and their drivers can be found on our motherboard chipset drivers page.
