To connect to the internet & to send & receive pic messages you must activate the GPRS first from your network provider ...The best thing you can do is to contact the customer care of your network provider and ask for the activation of GPRS ...
they will tell you the procedure to activate it ....
they will tell the number to which the message to be sent to recieve the settings ....
so note that down and then follow the procedures told by them ...
you will receive the gprs settings(profile) also ... make sure of the charges with them there will be many plans & then get activated ...
after this you will able to connect to internet ....
if the customer care people tell you that your handset is not compatible then you must tell to give the manual settings(includes ip address,APN,etc) so that you can only create the profile and input the information given by the customer care people...

any further doubts reply me
i am always here to assist you ..
thank you
bye...

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Failed to connect to the internet thr wi-fi

f Active Standby is activated on your Cell, your WLAN connection status is always visible from standby mode. The bottom line of the screen shows your WLAN status. If there are no wireless networks in the area, you'll see the message 'No WLAN network found'. If you're near a WLAN that you're not connected to, you'll see the message 'WLAN name found'.

To log on to this network, simply highlight the WLAN status line and press the centre selection key. You'll see three options:
  • Start Web browsing
  • Search for WLAN
  • Switch WLAN scan off

If the WLAN has detected then cell will open, unprotected network (and needs no passcode to access) then simply highlight Start Web browsing and press the centre selection key to go to your Bookmarks page and start browsing the web.

Hope this helps

When i click on an email to make it full screen I get a strange message asking me to clear my cache or some other weird message. It never happened before and now it happens every time. I can only view my...

It's clear that you have to clear the Cache and the other weird message might be something like cookies etc... Could you please tell me the name of the Internet Browser you are using? Since you didn't mention the browser, I have to assume myself it as Internet Explorer. First close the internet explorer (without closing the internet browser, it's not important to do this, the cache files that are being used will not be cleared and you'll not see the effect). Open the Control Panel, and again open the "Internet Options", on the "General" tab, click "Settings" beside the "Delete" in the "Browsing History" field, another dialog box will pop up, check the "Disk Space to use......" and increase the value if it's less than 500 (you can increase it upto 1GB). After it's done, click and return to the "Internet Options" dialog box, now click the "Delete" button just beside the "Settings" below the "Browsing History", another pop will come up, from there, verify that the first four options are selected/checked and click "Delete", confirm if you are, wait for few seconds until the delete is completed, and exit the "Internet Options". Now open the browser and work with your emails. It should work fine.

If your internet browser isn't Internet Explorer, you have to delete the cache/cookies/temp files from the "Tools" menu i.e. in Firefox: Tools > Advanced > Network > Clear Now, and in GoogleChrome, Tools > Under the Hood > Clear Browsing Data. You may be asked to close the respective browsers, do so or it may automatically do it for you with another confirmation.
After you are done, Restart your computer and try again. There are also several Tools/Programs to clear these things, if you can't do it as mentioned above, let me know so that I can give you the link where you can download the tools.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I can't browse the internet using my Samsung Star Wifi. Everytime I try to browse the net, the DNS Failed message always appear. How can I solve the problem?

Ask your network operator to send you the internet settings, install the settings and set them to default for your browser. After that restart your phone. If you already have the Internet Settings on your cell and internet is activated on your number then you should delete your settings and ask your network operator to send you the internet settings again, install them and set them to default.
You should also do one more thing i.e, reset your cell to default settings or if you have the option of reset browser then only reset that.
Thank you!

Samsung E250 IMEI no set to all zeroes

*#7337# always creates problem of setting imei number to 15 0's for Samsung mobiles. This is because this code formats the NAND part of the EEPROM which in turn results in the rejection of the network service & hence displays "Limited Network" after phone reboots.I am posting this comment to help all those users who have accidently gone through such a situation. The only remedy of this problem is that you need to take your cell phone to your nearest Samsung Service Center, rather than wasting your days fishing the internet, where they will install the company made software which is otherwise not available in market. You may be charged a nominal sum of 250 rupees or so.............tc & enjoy life my email id : scorpionkng04@gmail.com
