Bosch classixx dishwasher starts cycle then says " check water" and then seems to do same thing again and again, pumping water in and draining it again

Probably jug impellor part number (424099) from espares, buyspares or bosch direct.
No fix unfortunately, this problem manifests as unit starts to fill and motor does not switch on. Eventually the unit overfills and the pump and fill start to alternate and check water light comes on. If this is the fault then this part is the solution it runs in line with the inlet valve and side fill chamber, take the left side panel off (looking from the front) it is tucked away behind the hoses bottom left (white plastic disc with two wire connection tag). Check water light can also come on if the unit is not pumping, if this is the case, repost and I will try and talk you through clearing this fault.

My dishwasher won't drain properly. The pump has been making a weird sound for a month or so and last night it couldn't drain. It starting beeping and the pump was running. I cleaned the drain filter

If the pump is running but noisy then that indicates a loose pump impeller (new pump I am afraid) if running (no noise) but failing to remove water, then I would be checking that drain hose is clear, or even that your machine is not syphoning water from waste disposal, a quick check would be to disconnect waste hose from waste disposal and see if it will then drain into a bucket, hope this is helpful.

Machine just started leaving dirty water in bottom of machine. cleaned filters, had machine apart, removed and cleaned waste pipe. pump runs and impeller feels ok.only time i could get any water to drain...

Check that the pump is clean and not loose. Make sure pump, impeller, and waste pipe are in alignment with each other and are clean. If it works when you shake the pipe, then there is still a clog inside or the pipes aren't aligned correctly and something is hanging up.

After commencing a programme my Hotpoint BF71 dishwasher takes in water but overfills, filling the whole of the tub nearly to door level. The waste pump starts for a short burst and then more water comes...

Check for a float switch that senses the water level. It may have two level sense of filled and overfill the latter would trigger the waste pump to avoid a flood. If the filled switch has failed, that could cause the problem. The waste pump MAY also be triggered on the basis of the filling taking too much time before the filled switch actuates... if it has failed, the time would be exceeded.

Water not draining after wash. Checked the troubleshooting guide and none apply to problem. It seems like the pump isn't running.

Have you purchased a new food waste disposer for the kitchen sink area? If so, make certain if you are draining the dishwasher directly into the food waste disposer, that you have removed the plug from the food disposer. Or you may be correct that the water pump is inoperable due to an obstruction or basic malfunction. Contact an appliance service company.

I have a GE PDW8060GSS dishwaser. The washer does not turn on. The "anti bacterail" swith keeps blinking. There is some water standing inside the washer. Tried draining, but water keeps coming back. Not...

If after draining water comes back then you need to check the waste water system for any cloughs. Problem might even be at the dwelling drainage system as any blockages would prevent water from going out from washer. Check the waste hose, filter and pump. clean them all if needed.

Best of luck

Leaking water

Your waste pump might not be clearing the water from the machine. When you open the machine, is there a visible pool of water at the bottom? Check that your waste pipe isn't blocked, and check and clean the filter basket underneath the bottom dish tray.

LG Dishwasher

ok. our machine has done this for 6 months or so, it was ok for the 1st 6 months. i have checked and cleaned and unblocked and gone bloody crazy. today i found the fault and fixed quickly.

the installer stuffed up. the waster water hose must head up and be fixed just under your bench top, then come down hill to your exit/spiggot/drain attachment.

ours was just lying more or less at floor level coming up to the spiggot. so whenever the waste water pump switched off, water would run back into the machine, hence the OE error, and also dirty water with food would then get chucked around it what should have been a clean rinse.

a diagram of the waste water house and how it should be done is in the manual.

i just about blew $1500 on a new machine !!

Water not draining

Usual causes are: 1. Something in the drain path blocked. Symptoms: You can hear the drain pump running at the appropriate bits of the cycle, but if you you open the door the instant the pump stops, there is still a pool of dirty water in the bottom. Solution: Follow the path from strainer through drain pump to drain hose, find and eliminate the blockage. Most likely points are the strainer and the inlet to the pump. Hint: You can identify the drain pump by following the drain hose and seeing what it's attached to. 2. Drain pump broken. Symptoms: Usually, you won't hear the pump running at all at the appropriate times; if it does run, it won't sound right. Solution: Take it off and open it up, see if something is blocking the impellor (in which case, fish it out). Spin the impellor with your fingertips; If it won't turn at all, you need to find out why it has siezed (may be fixable) can you feel it turning the motor (a very magnetic, "flippy" sensation). If you can't, the impellor has probably become unstuck from the shaft. You may be able to glue it on, but this fix is unlikely to last very long. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the motor windings. If madly different from a few hundred ohms, again a new motor might be necessary. Hint: The pump motor and impellor can usually be bought separately from the pump housing as a much cheaper unbranded part. 3. Back-siphoning from the waste plumbing. Symptoms: You can hear the drain pump running normally at the appropriate times, and if you open the door the instant the pump stops, the machine appears to be empty, but then quietly fills up with dirty water. Solution: There is meant to be an air break (or in some installations and anti-siphon valve)where the machine's drain hose enters the domestic drainage drainage system. Unblock/unjam this. Hint: After fixing this, run the machine empty on the hottest, longest cycle it has; some of that dirty water may not originally have come from the dishwasher. A.
