Question about Whirlpool RBS305PD Electric Single Oven

Whirlpool Oven/Convection Oven Timer Problem

Our single/electric- built in oven (Whirlpool RBS307PDB2) will not allow us to set the electronic minute/hour timer any more. When we press the "timer set" pad, rather than displaying hour or minutes to allow timer to be set, it goes into the stop time mode that will shut off oven at a preset time. Any idea if this can be corrected or a problem on the board?

My oven show lock sign and i can not open it

If its a self cleaning oven it might be in clean mode. It usally takes 4 hours to clean. If its been more than 4 hours, it might be an electronic issue. Try unplugging it for about 5 minutes and plugging it back in.

I have an accubake electric oven. The lower heating element will not turn on. The timer and clock etc. work. It is a new appliance.

It sounds like the electronic timer/clock is in the automatic mode. It must be in the manual mode for the oven to work.

My GE wall Oven Model #jctp18ba1bb is not working.the board is blankm the only thing that works is the oven light. Is there any kind of thermal fuses etc. in this oven.thge control board was replaced 8...

When you say board I assume you mean the electronic clock/timer. This timer directly affects the oven operation. Even if the internal oven fuse is blown or the thermal overload is tripped the electronic timer and oven light will always work. If the oven light works and the electronic timer/clock does not I'd say that the timer/clock is faulty.

It takes 28 minutes for the oven to reach temperature of 375 degrees. The ready buzzer goes off in about 15 minutes. The temperature is 300 degrees. Is there any adjustments to be made.

what is your oven if is gas or electric, if is gas easy to preheat by using lower heating element, if electric? that your unit have convection? or not? coz some probelm of the oven is, 1 if the oven is no convection or your oven is single heating in upper element,if your oven have a timer and cut off in 15minute? dont use timer, use a manual timer by it your self,if you want to reach the degrees that you want check your oven if der a lower and upper heating element with convection function, that the one is the most easy way to reach the degree that you want to reach.

What is the best setting for my viking on a 14 pound turkey, bake or do i use the convection broil?

Hi,

Use the regular bake setting.... run the oven at 350.... the 14 lb. bird will take about 4-5 hours.....convection moves air and can tend to dry out the bird...

I was cleaning my GE profile convection oven and after the 3 hour cycle, an error message F 1 started flashing, and the oven started beeping.

We frequently see this symptom due to a failure in the electronic range control (ERC). We repair a lot of these.
